"Thank you so much again, Lilly" you thanked the vampire once more after entering the enormous house. You and Kuro both took a second to gaze around as Lilly led you down the hall.

"I'm sorry, but I only had time to prepare one room" he said apologetically, a warm smile on his face.

"It's no problem.. I'm just happy we were able to come in the first place"

He stopped and showed which door was yours before placing his hands behind his back, "it's really no problem dear (y/n). Are either of you hungry?"

"I ate earlier, thanks" you replied before turning to Kuro, "wait, did you?"

He shrugged without a verbal response.

"That's not an answer, Kuro"

"No.." he sighed with a tired expression.

The cat does absolutely nothing all day, how could he have forgotten to eat??

"Well do you need to or are you ok for the night?" You sighed. He shrugged again and gazed at the floor.

"Ugh, whatever.." you mumbled so no one could hear. You looked up to Lilly, "Hey I know it's still pretty early, but I am just.. super tired from today. I think I just wanna head to bed early.. if that's okay?"

"Oh of course! Go right ahead, I'm sure today's been stressful for you." He smiled.

"Thank you Lilly." You smiled back as you turned back to Kuro, "if you're eating with Lilly then be nice and try not to put your face on the table" you said quietly so it only be to him. He nodded without making eye contact, his face painted with a bored expression.

The two vampires sat across from one another at a large table. Each had tea and a plate of food.

"Looks like you've been living well.." Kuro mumbled as he poked his food around, his statement referring to the obvious wealth his master has.

"It's nice but I've been here for so long..." Lilly sighed looking around.
"So how's you and your eve?" He asked with a happier tone.

Kuro glanced up at his brother then back down to nowhere before leaning on the back of his chair with a huge sigh, "her parents hate me..." he said with an exhausted tone.

"I read that they didn't take the news well... what did they do?"

".. I don't wanna talk about it.." he sighed. "-but (y/n)..." he looked up a bit, "I can't tell if she's stupid or just weird."

"What?" Lilly asked with a confused face, "she seems delightful"

Kuro exhaled and took a sip of his tea, "No it's different... she keeps getting herself into trouble with her parents.."

"How so?"

"I don't know. They yell at me, she yells at them, they leave me alone for a bit and she gets in trouble... It's weird that she'd do that since she knows it's going to cause her trouble. I don't understand why she does it..." he sighed, his face looked confused as he tried to distract himself with food.
