Be With You

Chapter 2

"Baekhyun-ah what have you done?" Baekhyun thought as he walked home. He was touching his lips as he smiled at what just happened.

"A-ani, aniya!" Baekhyun mumbled as he shaked his head. "What are you thinking Baekhyun?! She's your best friend, you're making her confused." Baekhyun tried to get away with his thoughts, but not long after he didnt realize he was holding onto his left chest while smiling like an innocent puppy.

As he reached for his phone in his pocket to check the time, he saw the couple keychain that you gave him when you were in 5th grade-- the first time you performed as Peterpan&Wendy. It was a keychain of Peterpan holding a heart. He smiled even more at the sight of Peterpan smiling brightly back at him. A few more steps and he finally made it home, took a shower, and went to bed with his lips slightly curled up.

The next day, Baekhyun waited in front of your house so you can walk together to school, which was waht he usually do. You opened the door and greeted him with a smile.

"Are you ready?" He asked.

"Mm~ let's go!" You cheerfully answered.

On your way to school, you blushed at the thought of what happened last night. You lowered your head, so he won't see your face. Unfortunately he noticed your little actions and asked, "__-yah, are you okay?"

"O-oh yeah, I'm just a little tired," you told him as you quickly looked away.

As you two arrived at school you saw the students crowding around a poster. It was about the year-end party that the school will be holding. You saw Sehun running into your direction and greeted him with a smile.

"Yah yah. You guys saw that, right?" He pointed at the poster with a huge smile on his face. "We're having a party, yehet!" He said as he put his right hand up while holding a cup of tea. "So are you guys coming?"

"Of course!" You and Baekhyun said in unison. You looked at each other and chuckled.

"Hahaha yehet! Yehet! Ye-to-the-HETTT~ Woooo yehett~" sehun said and started jumping up and down.

"Oh geez."

"Here we go again." You and Baekhyun said, blankly looking at Sehun's seemingly unstoppable stupidity. Good thing Neesha came sooner and called on him.

Days passed by really quickly, and it was already the last day of school. It was the day of the party in celebration for the last day of the school year, as well as for you guys finishing middle school.
Baekhyun knocked on your door, and your mom welcomed him with a warm smile. He let him in. You took a few pictures with him as it was your last day wearing that mid-schooler uniform.

"1-2-3, say cheese," your mom signalled. You both posed with a V-sign. Baekhyun gave you a quick glance and smiled before looking at the camera. After taking some pictures, you walked out the door and went to school together.

"Wahh~ time flies so fast.. We're already entering high school next year." Baekhyun said while stretching his arms up.

You walked pass the park where you first met and said, "I know right? It was just like yesterday when we first met and played on the park. And then BOOM-" you clapped your hands in front of his face, which caused his head to vibrate out of surprise, "-we're best friends! And then we became Peterpan&Wendy. And then, and then-  Wahh~ jinjja I can't believe we'll be high schoolers next year." He chuckled at your i-cant-believe-it expression.

"Are u excited about it?" He asked.

"I don;t know. I dont feel anything actually. I don't even know yet where i should enroll."
