Chapter 3: 'Love!' Is in the air

Just think of that Cupid guy from Gravity Falls in case you know him. This chapter is not meant to offend anyone 😅.

(Y/n)'s POV

It was the next day, and my hair was in a high pony tail. I was wearing a long sleeved shirt with a (f/c) strip going around the middle. And of course, still had my necklace on. Hydra, my dragon told me not to take it off. Not even for a minute. I don't know why. Maybe it was because she didn't want me loosing one of her gifts? I don't know. Anyway, it's time for a another job!

I began to walk towards the area of the guild. I went in front of the door and was about to open it, but then instead had an unexpected Sting open it before me. We stared at each other for a little, until he gave a cheeky smile.

"Just on time!" He said. I looked behind him, and saw Vicki and Rogue. They were talking to each other and making one another laugh. Even though they had kinda just met...I ship it.

"Ok, let's go!" Yelled an excited Sting. Everyone nodded their heads.

"Aye Sir!"

Time skip onto the train~

I feel like Im about to explode. The headache I have right now is terrible.

"What's wrong, (Y/n)?" Vicki asked.

"Irk....Motion...ugh...sickness" I answered feeling my lunch come up. "It's a dragon slayers weakness" I mumble gagging.

"Ah...I see..." She replied. Sadly, Rogue and Sting were in the same condition I was.

Once we reached our stop, the three of us crawled off the train as Vicki followed walking normally. I looked up at a sign.

'Welcome to the town of Clover!' It said. I smile slightly and stand up like nothing happened.

"It's been a while ever since we've came here" Sting says. I nod and close my eyes smelling the fresh breeze going by. I could hear the others doing the same thing. Once we opened my eyes, everyone's mouth dropped.

There were couples holding hands, and smooching one another with no shame. I raise a brow.

Yeah, it's normal for people to this...but...they look like they are being forced to do what they are doing...

"I-is the town usually like this?!" Vicki asks. Me, Sting and Rogue shake our heads quickly. All of a sudden, we heard a huge laugh. We look up and see a very chubby half naked man with wings, arrows and a light brown mullet on his head. He smiled and jumped off the building, landing in front of us. My eyes widen slightly.

"You must be new here, may I get your names?" He asks flipping his hair. We all looked at each other and shrugged.

"Sting"

"Rogue"

"...Vicki"

I sighed. "(Y-Y/n)..." I say. Once the man looked at me, his eyes pooped right out of his head. There was a silence. I shiver a little.

"(Y/N)!!! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL NAME!!!" He shouted. (This is gonna sound like someone familiar hue hue...You can maybe call this Dan's long lost brother).

"L! O! V! E! ITS LOVE!" He continued to shout, he then took my hand and kissed it like a gentleman. I look at Sting and mouthed 'help me...'. Sting nodded. It looked as if something was bothering him though...

"Are these people bothering you?" The man asks. I open my mouth to say no.

"Their bothering you! I will get rid of them for you, don't worry!" The man declared. He then got an arrow from his arrow stash. "ARROW MAGIC! LOVE!" He yelled. Rogue pushed Vicki out of the way, and their was a big explosion.

"Run! Come back for us later!" I heard Sting yell. Me and Vicki nod and run from the guy. We really need a name for him...

Stings POV~

I watched (Y/n) and Vicki's backs go smaller and smaller as they ran. When I looked back, Rogue was in my face.

"I can go for the ladies later, right now, you guys are my toys" The creepy man said. Me and Rogue started dancing the tango.

"R-Rogue!!! Let go of me!!" I yelled.

"But I can't control myself!" Rogue yelled back.

I tried pushing away, but instead, Rogue twirled me around like, 50 times. I felt like blowing chunks. Rogue then dips me. I looked up to the guy, who was laughing maniacally. I glare at him. I needed to come up with a insult. Well...he's a pathetic looking Cupid...that's for sure.

"You...You...CHUBPID!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. The man paused for a moment, but then smirked and laughed again.

"How did you guess my name?" He asked placing a hand on his chest. I just looked at Rogue, and he rolled his eyes.

(Y/n)'s POV~

We ran pretty far. We then stopped to take a breather.

Wait.

"Why are we ruining! We can fight!" I yell.

"Exactly!" Vicki yelled. We then ran all the way back. But when we did, we saw the funniest thing.

Rogue dipping Sting, like two tango partners. I blinked twice, then me and Vicki burst out into a fit of laughter.

"S-Stop laughing!" Sting yells with a blush of anger and embarrassment all over his face.

"Do you like it my butterfly?!" I hear the man shout.

"She is not your butterfly!!!" Sting yelled at the top of lungs. I still was laughing a little even though I shouldn't be.

"Don't laugh at us!" Rogue yelled. Me and Vicki paused.

"Haha...ok fine, we'll save you.." Vicki smiled wiping a tear from her eye. She did a few hand movements.

"Ice-make: FLOOR!" She yelled, creating an icy floor. Th guy then fell to the ground because of how slippery it was. I grabbed him with my stretched out arm, and brought him back. He saw this as an opportunity, and puckered his lips. I cringed a little and threw him into a near by wall.

"Ice make: CANON!" Vicki yelled. And of course, an ice canon appeared. I payed for a water bottle in a bear by stop and chugged it all down.

"I'm all fired up now" I smirk wiping my mouth.

"You can't be fired up! Your water" yelled a distant Sting. I...ignored him.

"Water Dragon: ROAR!" I yell. Vicki shot her canon as well. It hit the very annoying dude, and he flew off just like team rocket would in an episode of pokémon.

"I'll be back my love!" He yelled. I cringe again.

Me and Vicki take a glance at Sting and Rogue, to see if they were still tangoing.

...

Yup.

"You know, I'd much rather dance with you" Sting said looking directly at me. Rogue then dipped him, and I bent down to be his upside down heads height. He smirked at me. I just flicked his earring playfully.

All of a sudden, Rogue drops Sting. And Sting was in the floor groaning in pain. I looked around, and saw that no more people were doing that weird 'stuff' anymore. I then bend down and help Sting up.

"Well then...I guess that was our job...should we get the prize money...?" Rogue asks. Vicki jumps and claps her hands excitedly.

"YAS! It was a lot of jewel, from what I remember!" She said. My eyes widen.

"Wow! This job went by fast..." I mumble. Sting nods.

"It would have been more fun if it took longer..." Sting responded.

"Let's just go" Rogue said.

A/n: Once again! More then 1000 words! Writing this chapter made me laugh a little...so hehe. Sting and the rest of the Fairy Tail characters belong to Hiro Mahima! Hehe...ok.
