Chapter 5: Forgiveness

Sting's POV

I called her name, but she didn't look back. Sadness came over me. I tried to chase after her, but she wasn't anywhere I looked. Yukino then walks over to me.

"What are you looking for Sting-sama?" She asked.

"(Y/n)..." I said running my hand through my blonde locks. Yukino thought about it for a moment.

"Did you check the roof?" She asks.

...

I go up onto the roof, and see a familiar girl with (h/l), (h/c) hair, sitting in the edge of the roof in the rain. I walk up to her, she's shivering because of how cold it was. She looked up at me, but the. Looked away quickly. I swear I saw a bit of pink on her cheeks. I sit down beside her.

"You should come in...You could get sick" I said. She sighed.

"The rain isn't bothering me.." (Y/n) mumbled.

"Says the one who's shivering" I say with a chuckle. Her cheeks turn a scarlet red, probably in embarrassment.

...how cute.

"You should go back in...don't stay here with me.." She says still looking away from me.

"But I came here to get you...I can't fail this mission" I answer winking.

"B-but I'm mad at you...why-"

I hugged her. "Droplet...I can't fail this mission...the prize is way to precious to lose" I say in her ear. I then look at her, and her cheeks blush again. Man...I love making this girl blush.

The rain slowly went away, and my droplet, (Y/n) sighs.

"Fine...I forgive you" She says.

(Y/n)'s POV

There was a silence, and we just stared into one another's eyes. Sting began to lean in, and I didn't know what was gonna happen. I begin to sweat. Is he gonna kiss me?!

"(Y/n), don't worry...it won't hurt at all..." he continued going slowly.

All of a sudden, there was a huge thump on the ground. Sting quickly moved away.

...

"No! Yukino come back!" A distant Vicki yelled. Me and Sting looked at each other, then back to what our eyes were witnessing.

Rogue and Vicki were on the floor, in one of those anime cliché positions.

...

"I-its not what it looks like!!!" Rogue yelled.

Time skip~

Days have passed, and I haven't heard that mysterious voice. But just thinking about it brings me to tears.

"You ok there?" Sting asks. "You've been staring at me like you've been needing to tell me something..." he mumbles. I was sitting in a chair right in front of hid desk, watching him doing his paper work. My head shook no. "Ok...but don't forget, you can tell me anything" he said winking. Over this past year, he has changed. He's pretty nice now...a nice imbecile to be exact. Lucy told me he could be my 'mate'. Whatever that means....

She blushed when I told her Natsu could be hers. Maybe that means...Nah.

Sting was doing his guild master work. The usual. "Thanks for staying with me, Lector never really wants to come...and it usually gets pretty boring.." he says finishing his last paper. I smile at him. It must be hard being guild master...

"I'm not even talking though..." I mumble. He then smiles.

"Your at least keeping me company.." Sting said.

I wonder why he's being like this right now...the answer is right in front of me...right?

My vision suddenly went blank.

....

"It's been a while...Dear Sister"
