On 2010, in a small town in Atlanta Georgia, there was a police officer named Rick Grimes. He was a tall man, who wasn't very muscular looking, he had brown hair, and a rough face. He was a sheriff deputy. Rick was traveling down an empty road outside of Atlanta in his police car. He came upon a gas station. He was in need of gas. He drove up to the gas station seeing that nobody was there. But he saw that some vehicles were flung over, burnt, or destroyed. Items from the vehicles were scattered around the ground and filthy.
Rick got out of his car with a red fuel canister in his hand. He walked over to the gas station, while stepping on shattered glass from some vehicles. Rick stared at the horrible sights from the vehicles. As he walked by, he stared into the cars. His face was drained when he saw the dead corpses inside some of the vehicle's driver side. Flies were already swarming the dead corpses like they've been rotting for a long time. Rick turned his head, and kept walking.
The ways that most of the cars were scattered, seems like it they were used for a fence to defend what looks like a camp. The so-called camp looked like it was treated horribly. There was garbage everywhere, and was disgusting. Rick finally reached the gas tanks in the gas station. But he came upon a sign that was hung only four feet above him that said "No gas." Rick stared at the sign for almost a minute with a little disappointment and turned to walk back to his car.
But something stopped him dead in his tracks. He heard the sound of feet being dragged against the ground, like it was someone who was having trouble walking. Rick turned around, a little bit of a concerned look on his face. But no fear upon it. He didn't see who was there with all of the cars in the way, but he could still hear them walking. He bent over and laid on his stomach to look under all of the cars.
About three cars from where he was standing he saw the legs of what seemed like a little girl. They were pale, skinny legs with spots of dirt and had bunny slippers on. That's all Rick could see. The little girl walked a few more inches and picked up a teddy bear in front of her and kept walking. Rick stood up and walked along the car with her. He then saw the rest of her, except her face. She wore a small pink bathrobe, and had long blonde, dirty hair. She didn't notice him. She walked the opposite direction Rick was without turning her head.
Rick followed her, without any thought in his head. Rick was picking up his speed and finally said "Little girl? I'm a policeman." She kept walking. So he said with a little more strength in his voice, "Little girl," she finally stopped but didn't turn around. "Don't be afraid," he continued, "Ok? Little girl?" She finally turned around and faced him. Her right cheek was torn off and you could see her right molars. The front of her was covered in blood drips. Her face was pale and her eyes were bright green with a hint of fog.
Rick's face didn't show much emotion. Not even fear. He almost looked like he's seen something like this before. She started to inch towards him. As her pace grew faster, she groaned. It was a very disgusting groan, like she was growling at him. Rick then started to look terrified. He put his right hand on his silver python and pulled it out. She then started to run after him. Rick knew what he had to do and he stopped, and raised his gun to her head as she was only ten feet away, but gradually getting closer.
Rick shot his gun and the bullet went right through the middle of her forehead. The impact killed her instantly and she dropped her bear and fell backwards to the ground. The blood in her head streamed out of the hole, and down the side of her head slowly. Rick, still holding his gun up in the air, stared at the girl he just murdered without any hesitation or guilt. He slowly put the gun down without any facial expression like he didn't care about what he'd just done.
