Lana's POV

I handed Marina the cup of tea and I sat down on the couch beside her.

Marina took gentle sips of the tea, groaning very softly as it ran down her throat.

A cup of tea solves everything.

The two of us sat in silence. But it wasn't awkward or lonely. We felt each other's presence and embraced it. Every few minutes we'd turn at look at each other or give a tiny smile.

When Marina finished her tea, she placed the cup on the table and sat up a little. She flinched as the thunder boomed outside again.

I moved and sat closer to her. She gratefully latched onto my arm as the thunder continued to break the sky.

"We need to talk" she whispered.

"We do."

"Will I go first? Or do you want to?"

"It's your house Marina, you choose"

She cleared her throat "I'd like to. Please."

"Of course dollface" I murmured.

Marina's POV

I gulped "I'm sorry. Forget about Paris for second. All this time, I've hated you. I've hated your voice, hated your style, hated your music, hated your pretty face. I hated everything. Because for so long I wanted you so bad" It was the first time I admitted that out loud.

"That night in paris, I disguised myself in an attempt to not be recognised. I changed my name, I wore a wig. I didn't see you until you came over and, fuck, I wasn't gonna leave without you. You looked exactly like Lana del Rey and I had to fuck you. I didn't know you were her. I do now. And I'm sorry. For everything." I had started to cry once more.

"Oh dollface" she wrapped her arms around my shoulders and whispered in my ear "You took the words right out my mouth."

I leaned into her body and hugged her tightly. The thunder boomed yet again but this time, I didn't jump.

I am not afraid anymore.
I leaned forward and pressed my lips against Lana's.
