LESSON: instead of a lesson, this week, there is a third assignment, which is sort of a lesson, but not one I wrote. As this week's lesson, please read the story that has been added to the private library of this account. The story is called "Who even cares?" And it was written by Temporary_Problems .

Every day, a life is taken. Sometimes by natural causes, sometimes at the hands of others. However, some death is caused by our own demons, taunting us until we decide to finally get rid of them.
Suicide is a very serious topic. It should not be taken lightly, and I believe it should be discussed openly among peers to help prevent it.
People commit suicide every day- Sometimes, they're bullied into it. Other times, they feel like no one understands them. There are so many things and factors that come into play when someone decides to take their own life.
Sometimes, we wonder why people feel the need to take their lives. And people can help prevent that. There are suicide hotlines, and online chats, open twenty four hours a day for people who feel like they might commit. Some people don't understand just how terrible this is. You might have heard people jokingly tell others to kill themselves, which just shows how much society overlooks this issue. When someone is so depressed that they take their own life, it's something we need to stop and think about.
I have a deep respect towards people who help to prevent suicide, and toward organizations that work towards a life where people don't feel the need for it.
