Christina's POV

I laid on my bed, scanning the ceiling. I felt like a couch potato right now. All afternoon I did nothing but sulk, cry, eat, sleep, eat and eat. I don't even know who I am right now. I don't know what I'm doing. I'm just ....I was convinced again, to follow the plan, but this time it feels, as if it was forced upon me. Before, I was rushing for precedence, but now I'm not sure that the thing I'm about to do is right. Even if it aims at a person who is not even a tad bit humane.

I checked my phone once again, to find messages from Thomas and Kate, literally pleading for me to come to the carnival. But I had made up my mind and was adamant on my decision. Just then the bell rang, bursting my loner bubble.

When those blue eyes shone, it didn't surprise me anymore.

"Hey" I said with a smile. A natural one.

"Hey, mind if I come in?" Jason said, with an equally beautiful smile. His smile sure was to die for.

"Not at all." I said leading him to my room. It was really nice to have a normal talk with him for once. Though I knew it wouldn't last even for a minute.

"About last night..." He began. So much for normal talk.

"I'm really sorry about what I said christie. I mean, you came to help me, and all I did was act like a jerk. I didn't mean a single word of what I said, I was just to tired of everything."

"It's okay Jay--"

"You called me Jay!" He said, actually surprised.

"Umn yes?" I said laughing at his innocence.

"You were saying?"

"Yeah, umn, Jason maybe you didn't mean it, but it made perfect sense. I thought about it and realized you were right."

"You're stupid."

"Hey!" I said punching him lightly.

"Christina I said it out of pure absurdity. It was absolutely farcical!"

"No it wasn't. I honestly don't even know who I am anymore."

"Okay then, it made sense. I was right."

"You are so annoying!" I said laughing. I hadn't had a laugh like this since I don't know when.

"I don't understand what you girls want man."

"Most girls want you, or so I have noticed."

"You suck at flirting." He smirked. I blushed at his comment.

"What are your plans for the evening?" asked Jason, standing up from the bed.

"Besides sleeping and eating, you mean?" He didn't reply to this half rhetoric question.

"Nothing. Why, what do you have in mind?"

"We should go to the carnival." He said looking directly into my eyes, as if it weren't a request. It was a command.

"'We' as in, you and me together? Like 'us', you mean you and I? You mean--"

"Yes. You and I together." He said, laughing.

"It's a date?"

He just smiled looking at me, and his expression conveyed everything.

"You should be ready in five." Jason said, already out of the room.
