I woke up and looked in the mirror, my face stained with tears and my eyes red. I casted a glamour charm and got dressed. It was a Saturday so I wore a red jumper and black skinny jeans.

When I arrived at the great hall for breakfast I decided to sit with the golden trio at the Gryffindor table. "Morning", I smiled.

"Good morning", they replied. Hermione started telling us about what she read in the library last night, although I think she was the only one that cared. Ron and I were stuffing our faces.

"Look at him", Harry barked. "What does he want? Why's he looking at us?", he questioned.

"I don't know but, I heard that the Slytherin's had quite the party last night", she stated in a matter-of-fact tone. Receiving a few looks from both Harry and Ron.

Suddenly paying attention to the conversation, my eyes darted towards the platinum blonde stood at the entrance of the great hall. He briefly looked at me before taking a seat at the Slytherin table. I gasped and the food I had in my mouth was stuck half way down my throat. I couldn't swallow it nor breath. I started coughing and gripping at my throat.

"Chloe! Chloe, are you alright?", Harry asked concerned.

"Of course she's not Harry, she's choking!", snapped Hermione. She pulled her wand out of her pocket pointing it at me.  "Anapneo", she said calmly. All of a sudden, I could breathe again. I held my chest as I took deep breaths calming myself down.

"Thanks", I gulped.

"You ought to slow down when you eat", spat Ron, with a mouthful of toast spraying crumbs everywhere. I gave him a disbelieving look.
"Yes, thank you Ronald, I'll keep that in mind", I replied facetiously. Harry and Hermione burst out laughing.

Soon we all finished breakfast and we made our way to the library, Hermione's suggestion of course. I was browsing the shelves looking for books where I could study DADA. I ran my finger along the rows of books before me. 'The standard book of spells, Grade 3', that'll do. I took the book from the shelf and sat myself in a corner on a bean bag chair. I opened the book and began reading about: The Freezing spell, "A charm that conjures a blast of freezing cold air from the end of the wand. The incantation for this spell is 'Glacius' it's often used to-" was all I managed to read as I felt someone staring at me.

He stood several feet away as if he were hiding. Memories of last night played in my mind and tears formed in my eyes. I took my gaze away from him, back to the book I was reading. I heard soft footsteps coming towards me.

"Can we talk?", he whispered.

"About what?", I asked, although I was certain I knew exactly what.

"About last night", he stated, rubbing the back of his neck.

"What's there to talk about?", I asked again, still looking at my book.

"Stop being so stubborn will you! I need to talk to you about last night!", he yelled. People were now staring at us, most of them shocked. I finally looked up at him; his angry façade didn't fool me, I could see in his eyes he was upset. His lip was quivering slightly.

"Okay", I whispered closing the book I was holding placing it on the window sill beside me. "Let's talk".

He tilted his head towards the door motioning for me to follow him. I glanced over my shoulder as we left the library to see the trio looking at me wide eyed. They must of heard Draco.

I followed him until we reached a dead end of an empty corridor. I stood with my back against the wall "Soo..", I mumbled breaking the awkward silence, as Draco paced up and down in front of me.

"I didn't mean to", he babbled. Stopping on the spot straight in front of me.

"Didn't mean to what? Kiss me?", I laughed sharply at an attempt to hide the anxiety I was feeling.

"N-No I didn't mean to stop the kiss.", he muttered looking me in the eye.

"Oh..", was all I managed to say.

"Look, Chloe", he started. Chloe? He's never used my first name before, he never uses anyone's first name. What the hell's going on? "W-When you made... y-you know... that noise", he stammered. I felt my face go crimson red and looked down at my hands, fiddling with them. "It startled me", he gulped. "Not because I didn't want to kiss you", he quickly added.

There was a brief silence.

"So, you wanted to kiss me", I smirked.

"I didn't say that", he smiled showing his pearly porcelain teeth.

"You have a beautiful smile, Draco", I complemented cupping his face with my hands. He chuckled.

"Draco, huh? Since when we're we on a first name basis?", he teased.

"Somewhere after this happened", I giggled, pulling his face down towards mine, kissing him softly. He brought a hand to my waist and the other at the back of my neck. I placed my hands on his waist pulling him as close as I could. The kiss was short and sweet.

"Although, if you want, I can go back to calling you Malfoy?", I suggested playfully.

"Shut up, Chloe", he laughed, kissing my forehead.
