Late April fools chapter

Your POV
So today is April first aka April fools. And me and Miles just got a hamster named Marzia. (I have a hamster named Marzia, she's the hamster in the picture above)
And because today is April fools I've decided to pull a prank on Miles. My plan is to put Marzia in her little bus hide her in a cabinet and when Miles got home tell them that Marzia escaped and was now running around lose.
Miles will be home in about 10 minutes which should be enough time. I put Marzia in her bus and hid it in the cabinet. About 15 minute later Miles walked in. I began to look around pretending like I'd lost something.
"Hey YN!" Miles said walking in. I froze pretending to be panicked.
"Hey," I said awkwardly.
"What's wrong?" Miles asked knitting their eyebrows together.
"Haha, funny story actually..."
"What happened?" Miles asked looking me dead in the eyes.
"Well i had put Marzia in her gate to get some exercise but then had to go to the bathroom. I didn't think she would be able to get out of the gate but she did. Now I can't find her anywhere!"
Miles faced dropped.
"Ok ok, let's stay calm. Come on we'll like for her together."
I nodded and me and Miles began looking.
After about five minutes I went over to the cabinet and took out Marzias bus.
"APRIL FOOLS!" I yelled.
Miles jumped a bit then looked at the bus then me. They bursted out laughing falling on their but.
"That was a good one YN. You got me I totally forgot today was April first!"
We both laughed before putting Marzia away.
We sat down on the couch and cuddled. "I love you," I whispered laying my head on Miles shoulder.
"I love you more," they said before we both fell asleep.
