Chapter 5

Karen Angels Pov.

"Is she okay?" I faintly heard a males voice. "What if she hit her head." He growled.

Growled, the word and the sound popped into my head.

"I knew this was a bad idea. What if when she wakes up she rejects me?" The same males' voice said. His voice seemed to be lace with concern and fear. Something inside of me wanted to comfort the guy who was talking. Something about the way he spoke seemed to poke at me, and all I wanted to do was to make him feel better.

"Dude relax, I've talked to Karen before, and she seems like she will be okay with this. You know after the shock of it all sinks in." Another male voice said.

"Sinks in?" A female voice said, "Sinks in? I don't think that anything that just happened a few minutes ago will sink in." I recognized that voice.

Alexis, I thought to my self.

I took in a deep breath and let it out. I slowly opened my eyes and found a group of people surrounding me. Looking at each person in the face, my eyes didn't stop until they found Alexis, who was bent down by my side.

"Karen." She breathed out once I started to sit up.

Without thinking I turned towards her and grabbed her arm tightly. "Lexis, I just had the weirdest dream ever." I laughed, looking at her. "I dreamt that your boyfriend and his brothers stripped down naked, and turned into the huge, gigantic wolves." I laughed even harder.

"Uh, Karen-"

"I've had a lot of weird dreams before, but that takes the cake." I said standing up and looking at her.

Her face was filled with worried and she looked at something behind me. "Karen that wasn't a dream." She said

I looked at her as if she were crazy. "Alexis, come on now, your boyfriend and his brothers did not, and I'll repeat, DID NOT, turn into dogs." I said.

"You're right, they turned into wolves." Another girl spoke. I turned around to see where the voice had come from. When my eyes landed on Nicole something in me suck. She was sitting in the on one of the couches alone with her arms wrapped around her knees. She looked like hell. Her eyes were puff and red, as if she were crying and her face looked like it was stained with tears.

"That's not true. Turning into a full grown wolf is something one reads about in books, or see on movies. They did not turn into wolves." I said making my voice go hard.

Nicole snapped her eyes at me and abruptly stood up. "No?" She said walking over to me. "Then why don't you tell us what just happened. You, me, and Alexis, just watched them turn into wolves. Right here, right before us, they turned into wolves!" She cried, and I could see tears starting to form into her eyes.

"Nicole" Zach said walking up beside her and reaching out his hand to touch her.

When she saw him reaching out towards her, she jumped out of the way. "Don't touch me!" She said taking small steps away from him.

We all watched as a painful looked crossed Zach's face.

"I'm sorry" he said taking a step back from her. When he did that Nicole seemed to relax a bit.

"I don't believe this." I said bringing my hands up and pushing my hair back. "How does this happens." I said looking at no one in particular.
