My birthday is September 24, 1997.
I didn't tell you the last time, so I wanted to let you know.
There are 2 things I like about having a September birthday.
One is that Grandma Judy and Wally both have birthdays right before mine, on September 21.
The other thing I really like is that you have something to look forward to right when summer is over and your going back to school.
I couldn't imagine it being any other time.
Today isn't my birthday lol, but I'm excited today because my mom is coming to take me shopping. I'm a daddy's girl but I really love my mom too. I'm always really excited when I get to see her. And the best part is, even though my parents aren't together anymore, they are always nice to each other. They aren't fighting. I think they are such good role models for divorced ones, but I'm being biased again lol.
The doorbell rings.
"I'll get it!!" I shouted.
It was Mom.
"Mom!" I exclaimed
"Madalyn, it's always so wonderful to see you!"
Wally came running to the door and barking.
"Yes you too Wally, you're so shu," mom said.
Daddy came to the door.
"Hi Darren, how are you?"
"Ok Colby, and you?"
"Ok I'm excited to spend time with Madalyn."
"She has been looking forward to it too."
I smile at both of them. "I love how you get along."
Daddy smiled at me too. "We have no reason to be upset with each other. Also, we have something wonderful in common~ you."
Mom nodded in agreement.
"Plus now I don't have to listen to your daddy's loud snoring anymore!" She laughed.
Me and daddy laughed too.
"Richard snores loud too lol" daddy said.
Mom turned to me "how do you get any sleep at night?"
We all laughed.
Then I left with mom to shop with her.
I love my parents and I know they love me too.
