Friend or Foe?

I stirred a little wondering what happened, as I opened my eyes a little I could see that I was in a cage. I opened my eyes fully and seen where I was, I was in the cage where they kept me last time. I stood up and groaned in agony, my leg was in pain, I  turned my head to see I had a gash on my leg that was patched up. I heard the door open to the cage and growled softly.

Hiccup: It's ok MetalFoot, It's just me.

Hiccup held his hand out some with metal in it, I growled softly but limped over to him and ate the metal.  I then saw Astrid, Fishlegs, Tuffnut and Ruffnut, and Snoutlout. I growled and roared lightly, I spread my wings a little and winced from the pain, my wings was badly bruised.

Hiccup: You poor thing, it must feel horrible to know that you have been betrayed by the one you trusted most....

It then all came back to me, Viggo betrayed me..., he used me. He tried to kill me!  I growled angry and hurt, I fell down on my belly and made a cooing sound of sadness.

Astrid: Hiccup what are we going to do now?

Hiccup: We are going to find Viggo and take back the Dragon Eye, but we won't do that now, if we do, MetalFoot might try to follow us and try to convince Viggo that he still needs him.

Astrid nodded, Hiccup came over to me and I growled, Hiccup held his hand out again, I looked into his eyes, they showed that he meant no harm, they was full of passion. I walked up to him slowly, and put my nose to his hand, it was like a true happiness awakening. I could feel the passion from his hand flowing through my body. He took his hand away and motioned me to follow him.

I followed him out of the cage and into the open, what I didn't expect was to see the children from before here again. It surprised me greatly, Astrid stood in front of them while the kids shook a little in fear, Guess I should have made a better first  empretion...., I sighed a little and walked with Hiccup to the middle of the huge cage.  Hiccup looked at me.

Hiccup: If you're going to be staying around here, MetalFoot, you need to be a lot....nicer to people and try to control your appetite. 

I growled but nodded, I felt a hand touch my side , I turned my body around quickly to see what or who was touching me. It was a little kid or a teenage kid, I can't tell. It was a little boy, he started trying to pet my head. I cooed a little enjoying the petting, he then started scratching under my chin, I fell to my side and my leg started trying to kick the air.

Astrid: Good job Garcole!

Garcole: Do I get to keep him?

Astrid: No, you are not ready for a Dragon, yet.

Garcole sighed: ok.

Garcole petted my head and left with the group of kids, I got up and shook. What just happened ? I looked around Hiccup was with Fishlegs looking through a book with the dragon symbol on it. I over heard them talking.

Hiccup:...are you sure Fishlegs? I mean they have been extinct for years upon years.

Fishlegs: I'm positive, he shows all the characteristics to be one!

Hiccup: Well, where is the place then?

Fishlegs: On Stone Tooth Mountain, it is North from here, Hiccup it is a dangerous place to be, and the island is full of Blue Oleanders!

Hiccup: Hmm, how are we going to get there then?

Fishlegs: From my studies there is only two types of dragons that can eat or be near the Blue Oleanders. Scaldron and MetalFoot.

Hiccup looked at me then he snapped his fingers.

Hiccup: I will take MetalFoot to Stone Tooth Mountain.

Fishlegs: You don't mean...

Hiccup: Yes, I'm going to ride MetalFoot.

I looked at him with astonishment, Him ride me? I growled a little, and stared at him wondering what to do..
