I opened my eyes slowly, I could see some sunlight creeping through the cracks of the cage. I looked around for Garcole, he was no where to be seen. He must have went back home, I thought to my self. I yawned and stretched, I then started to walk out of the cage, until the doors was opened to it. Hiccup stood there, I could see that the rest of the Riders was behind him.

Hiccup: Since Garcole is now your rider, we have built a base for him at Dragon's Edge. He is there now but you and Garcole need to start training together to become a Real Dragon Rider. Follow me MetalFoot.

Hiccup said as he mounted Toothless. I flapped my wings and flew out of the cage with Hiccup,  with the rest of the Dragon Riders. We flew quite far away, but it wasn't as tiring as Stone Tooth Mountain's flight! We flew across the ocean, the water shined brightly with the sun, I could see very few baby Scaldron and their mothers with then diving out and in the water. It was a beautiful sight indeed, but as I flew across the ocean I started to wonder, what was my real mother like? Did I even have a mother? No, Viggo made me, so I have no "real" mother but him.. I shook my head, and looked at Hiccup on Toothless, then I looked at the other Riders, they all was hugging and petting their dragons. I wondered if Viggo would have ever treated me like that, I became a little sad and I guess the dragons could tell I was sad, cause they looked at me with worried faces. Toothless slowed down to look at me, I didn't make eye contact with him and just looked down at the ocean.

Hiccup: You ok there MetalFoot?

I gave a curt nod, and flapped my wings to get ahead, seeing Dragon's Edge up ahead.  After a bit, I landed on the platform and stretched my wings. I looked around, I could feel the sunlight from the sun beating down on my back.

Hiccup: Garcole! Your dragon is here!

I looked for Garcole, and seen him on a hill that had a carving of me on the building, or base. He jumped down from a rope and swung all the way over to Hiccup. I was impressed, and I felt really happy to see him. He came over to be and scratched under my chin, I made a cooing sound and my back leg kicked like a dog.

Garcole: Haha, hey MetalFoot how are ya?

I licked his face and wagged my tail. Why do I feel so happy when I'm around him?  I thought to myself.  I didn't understand why I felt this way around him, but at least he makes me happy and I make him happy.

Hiccup: Alright Garcole, it's still bright and early so it's time to start training. Go to the back of the island to join up with the rest of the Young Dragon Riders ok?

Garcole: Ok, do I get to take MetalFoot with me?

Hiccup: No, not yet. Leave him here for a bit so we can feed him. You don't want to have a hungry dragon while training now do you?

Garcole: No, Chief Hiccup. Bye MetalFoot! See ya later!

I cooed to him, and stretched my wings, and my stomach growled with hunger. I looked around for some metal, Hiccup was way ahead of me, he already had a trough in front of me with a lot of metal in it. I licked my lips and started to chow down, as I was chowing down, I could see more Young Riders riding dragons in the sky with Astrid, forming a V shape.  I stared in amazement, I then continued to eat the metal. Finally, I finished eating the metal and flapped my wings, I flew up to the top of the hill and looked around. The birds was chirping in trees, I saw dragons flying in the air just having a grand time. I then saw Hiccup motion for me, I flew back down and landed next to him.

Hiccup: It's time for training. Come, follow me.

Hiccup got on Toothless and flew in the air, I flapped my wings and flew right behind him.  We flew behind the island, there was catapults, barrels with target markings on them, and many kids with dragons. I saw Garcole from the crowd, I flew down on a ledge where Toothless and Hiccup landed.
