|Chapter 5|

~Zane's POV~

The car parked for the final time, as we got out. Travis led me down a trail that was hidden by trees.

"Travis... Where are we going?" I asked.

"It's a surprise." He simply answered. He took ahold of my hand, walking beside me. Stones crunched underneath our shoes and I stumbled, causing me to trip and fall. I squeaked, waiting for the impact of stones and the ground, but that never came. I blinked open my eyes and saw Travis had caught me.

"Are you ok?" He asked and I nodded. He helped me back to my feet.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks," I sighed and looked down at my wedges. "I just wish Aphmau didn't pick these shoes." I said. Travis put his arm around my waist making sure that I wouldn't be able to fall again. We came to a short stop once we saw some vines blocking our path. The vines were decorated with beautiful flowers and it looked magical.

"What now?" I asked. Travis let go of me and walked to the vines, pushing them aside to reveal a gazebo over a lake. It was surrounded by trees where no one could find it. Fairy lights decorated the gazebo, it was beautiful. I gasped, covering my mouth with my hands.

"T-Travis... It's beautiful..." I stuttered in awe. He took my hand and led me down the dock and into the gazebo. He took a seat on one of the benches as I looked around. On the lake were lily pads with little lilies on them that were glowing. "Did you decorate this yourself?" I asked and he shook his head.

"One day I was exploring around here at night and I found it just like this. It disappears in the day for some reason..." He told me.

"Wow... It's literally magical..." I breathlessly choked out. I walked over to Travis and sat on his lap. "Thank you Travis. This has been the best date ever..." I giggled, feeling him pull my mask down and pressing my lips against his. I snaked my arms around his neck and his hands hooked onto my waist.

His tongue swiped across my bottom lip and I allowed him to explore my mouth. We parted after a few moments, panting and out of breath.

"Zane, I love you so much... You're my world, my joy, I don't know what I would do without you... Will you be my boyfriend...?" He asked. I felt tears pricking my eyes, there was no way I could say no...

"Travis..." I trailed off. "Of course, I love you too!" I exclaimed, pressing my lips to his passionately. I felt him smile against my lips and I couldn't help but do the same. Once we pulled away, I tugged my mask back up. I was about to get up when Travis stopped me and stood up, carrying me bridal style.

"Gah! Aren't I heavy?" I asked and he shook his head.

"Light as a feather." He smiled and I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Thank you so much for this, it's been the best night of my life." I assured him.

"I can agree with that." He replied.

~Time Skip~

We were back in the car and I felt myself nodding off. So, I gave in and let sleep consume me.

~Travis's POV~

I parked in Zane's driveway and I glanced over, seeing the raven haired boy asleep. I got out of the car and walked over to the passenger side. I opened the door and gently picked him up, carrying him inside. I walked upstairs and into his bedroom. I laid him on the bed and realized he was still dressed. I didn't want to undress him, so I'll call Aphmau and ask her if she can do it since those two are really comfortable with each other. The least I did was take off his jacket, wedges, and mask. I went downstairs and took out my phone.
