Commander Grayson's perspective

Many weeks had passed after the three-headed monstrous Devastrigon was slain from the dark heavens. We heard his voice echoed with defeat, but the only thing that mattered was everything was in great development to rebuild their homes and recover their resources. I did not have a chance to talk with Claes as he and his group already headed back to the Flash warrior academy. To be honest, that was one hell out of a mission.

I never heard other news from the Shadow knights, but I sent secret spies to keep those knights in surveillance. We may have no idea what they'll do next.

In the Flash warrior fortress built on another floating island, I watched the sun rising behind the greenish landscape. "How are the elves in Hymnalyria?" I asked without turning my head as I sensed Erna behind me.

"The Flash warriors helped constructed their homes adding with stronger bonds so they won't fall this time," she answered.

"And Flayflay?" I demanded.

Erna sighed. "She was disappointed that she wasn't able to come with us to slay the dragon,"

"It's for the best. She might be the first kill," I said and she laughed at that.

"By the way, she chose to stay with us," she informed.

"Excuse me?" I finally looked at her. She was wearing a grey military suit, blue pants, and black killer combat boots. "After what she had experienced, she decided to stay with the other warriors on the camp at Downhill forest. She would prefer practicing her magic with them," she said.

"Great, hopefully, she would make friends."

"And foes."

"Right, and foes. Wait, she practices magic?"

The door opened again as Giuseppe barged in. Tucking his scaly black suit and a short violet cape that reached the end of his back. "Commander, the Alliance Council is calling us," Giuseppe said as he walked toward us on the balcony. "They demand information about what happened in the Hawkatabbu in Kanya canyon because someone made rumors about the boy killed a dragon which spread worldwide."

Crap, the Alliance Council, I couldn't just decline them. They need to know. "We'll be there," I told him. Behind his back, his left hand lifted a newspaper.

"And you will not believe this." We looked at the newspaper as he smashed it on the top of the thick railing. "It happened again?" Erna said as we all looked at the main article:

Poison cloud conquered the weather again, dun, dun, dun

The picture showed us the colorful horizon but the green clouds with a burst of lightning on top. "I ever wondered whose idea to put 'dun, dun, dun,' in a newspaper." I wondered.

"Check the next article at the back," Guiseppe said and we did turn to the next page.

Does the Wicked nightmare return. . . ?

The next article had a picture on top about a black figure with two horns with a white question mark on the middle. By the curse. "'Many police, investigators, and Flash warriors are working with this case recently, but I speculated a theory, but it doesn't have strong evidence yet.'"

"Does the Alliance Council know about this too?" Erna demanded.

"Sort of," he said.

"Then, there's no time to lose." I glared to the horizon, looking to the future of what it would be when she's back according to what they claimed to hear and believe.
