Chapter 7: Two Years Later...

Alexandria's POV

It's been two years since our house party and my best friend showing up to my door at midnight so much has happened and yet not so much all together. Well lets start with the end with Demi at my door with her eyes red as she has been crying at midnight.

-2 years ago-

"Alex, we are fine with taking the couch. Really it's just for the night we don't want to intrude." Demi says between sniffling.

I look at my friend as I was about to say something I was interrupted by Carter who had been outside her room the whole time.

"Izzy, why don't you come with me and we will get ready for bed." Carter says to the little seven year old she walks up to her taking her hand from her mother. "You two just talk and I will get her to sleep."

"Carter, you don't have to." Demi rebuttals.

Taking the bag away from Demi and disappearing into her room with Izabella.

Leading Demi to sit on the couch I look at her. "So what happened? What did Joe do?" Was it Joe? of course it was Joe it's always Joe's fault for making her cry like this. Ever since the night they met and Izabella was conceived Joe has had Demi wrapped around his finger. When he was good, he was good and did anything for her but then when he was done he broke her heart.

"He is going on tour." Demi finally blurted out as I looked at her. "With the girl that he cheated on me with the first time." She quickly followed with.

I'll will kill him. He always does this and yet every time he sees her he wants to 'work it out' and be there for their daughter. He is just a jerk but no matter what I try to keep my mouth shut as much as I can with only giving her advice because I know that more I would say stuff the more it would push her to him.

"Well Dems, what are you going to do about it?" I asked her looking.

"I broke up with him. And I know what you think but this time its for real, if he wants to see Izabella fine, he is her father and I'm not going to keep him from her. But as far as me and him are concerned that ship is gone. "

"Well you know I am always here for you, and you and Iz can stay here as long as you need. We will make room for you both."

"Don't be silly Alex, I can get a place for us. But I appreciate that and sorry we weren't here earlier but that's when I found out."

And that is what happened between them and with two years Demi hasn't went back with Joe. The only time they see each other is so Izabella can see her father. Joe keeps trying and Demi has thought about it but then Joe quickly does something to ruin it.

Now for the big news. The one that turns everything around and something I could even see that night of our party. My mother and Scott are no longer together, I don't really know the extent to the story or what happen. My resource told me (my recourse being Maddie and Hannah) that they would fight all the time, yelling and Scott would come home late or would be working and gone for weeks at a time.

But shockingly through everything with my mother getting remarried to Christopher, me and Carter have still remained super close. We are more like sisters now that weren't not then when we were actually sisters.

Carter's POV

My father had issues, and Ashley had issues. I was mad at Ashley and I was mad at my father because just as I started getting used to this family that we were then everything changed. Ashley had quickly found Christopher, which now I see they get along so much more. And my father well he was little more focused on his film career growing. Some things are very awkward now but then somethings its as if nothing has changed.
