The next day came rapidly bringing you another day closer to Prom. You stood in front of the mirror holding your dress up against your chest. You were proud of your choice and you couldn't wait to show it to the girls on Friday night when they came to stay over. You also held the matching masquerade mask against you face. With a confident smirk you bowed to your pretend partner. "Why of course I would love to share this dance with you Spock" You said softly, a blush rising to your cheeks as you began to twirl around the room.

"(Y/N) hurry up or else you'll be late for the bus!" Your mother called bringing you out of your pretend dance session and almost making you fall over your stool that sat in front of your vanity. You stumbled and fell back on your bed with a thump. "Are you alright in there?" You mother added a few minutes later after she heard the thump.

You scrambled to your feet and quickly put your dress and mask back to where they had once been so you wouldn't die of embarrassment. "Y-yeah mom I'm fine. I'll be down in a moment" You called to your mother and then grabbed the necklace that you had gotten yesterday. After doing extensive research of the planets that you had taken notes of before, you had found that the necklace was made of Vokaya. A gem only found in the core of Vulcan itself and a very rare gem. You knew now that your 'secret admirer' was either one of two Vulcans that you knew. Spock or Ston. You clasped the necklace around your neck and then grabbed your backpack.

You stood outside in the warm San Francisco air waiting for your bus to arrive. Sitting on the wooden bench with Carol Marcus, one of your friends, you talked about your current language class that you were taking together. Vulcan. You were trying to explain the northern and southern dialects the way Spock had taught you a while back when you felt a soft vibration against your leg. Someone texted you and they kept spamming you. "Sorry Car I have got to answer this because whoever it is won't leave me alone" You said with an exasperated sigh as you unlocked your phone. You saw all the messages were from Reba making you roll your eyes and then read the messages. You finally asked her what she had wanted and then turned back to Carol. The two of you stood up as the bus arrived. You knew you were gonna deal with Reba's excitement when you got on the bus.

You and Carol searched for seats on the usually crowded bus. Lucky for you, Reba had saved a seat for you next to her, her smile was absolutely one to rival Loki the god of mischief. "You'll never guess wha' happened ta me yesterday" Reba nearly shouted drawing the nosy stares of a few other students.

You clamped you hand over her mouth to shut her up only to feel her lick your palm. "Ew! Damn it Reba why would you do that for? You psycho!" You groaned and pulled your hand away from her so you could wipe her slobber off of your hand on the leather seat.

"Damn right I'mma psycho! Don' cha forget it either! Now I wanna tell ya 'bout who asked me ta prom yesterday durin' psychology" Reba laughed and stuck her tongue out at you as you both settled back in the seat and watched the other people on the bus slowly turn around.
