Chapter 3: "Josh, I really like Coral"

*Tyler's P.O.V* (oooh don't get used to it though)

"I'm excited to meet her. Josh already seems to really enjoy her company" I exclaim to Jenna as we pull into the Mexican restaurant.

"Me too, we both know how picky Josh is since his last relationship." We both share a sad glance.

The place is crowded and we barely managed  to find a parking spot. Josh still isn't here yet and I have no idea what Coral looks like. As we begin to walk I notice a little girl crying.

I wonder what's wrong. As we walk closer I see a lady bend down to talk to the girl. We grow close enough and my curiosity gets the best of me and I start to listen in to what the lady is saying.

"Hey sweetie, what's the matter?" She crouched down in front of the crying girl. The little girl is continues to cry. "I-I-I can't find my family" she spoke through her tears. The lady picked up the girl and gave her a hug.

"Shh it's okay. I'll help you find them" she brushed the hair out of the girls face and soothingly rubbed her back. The kid slowly stopped crying. "That's better, what's your name sweetie?" She was smiling down at the girl.

Wow, this lady is really great with kids.

"My names Rachel."

"Hi Rachel, my names Coral."

Wait what? Coral? As in Josh's Coral?

I quickly look over to Jenna and by the look on her face I can tell she heard her too.
"You don't think it's her do you?" I shake my head. "I'm not sure but this Coral obviously has the best intentions. I'll call Josh"

By now Coral had carried Rachel into the restaurant. I grab my phone and quickly call Josh.

"Ty! I'm almost there." He quickly answers
"Hey Jish, Jenna and I are already here. We think Coral might be here too but we're not sure." Jenna had walked away to get our name put on the waiting list.
"What do you mean? You don't know what she looks like." He was obviously confused.
"We heard a lady say that her name was Coral, it would be quite a coincidence if there was another lady by the name of Coral."
"Um, she was wearing skinny jeans and a black crop top earlier." I quickly look over into the restaurant. I spot her. "That has to be her then."
"Don't say anything!" Josh quickly yelled through the phone. I was a bit taken back.
"What why?"
"I want to be the one to introduce you guys." I couldn't help but chuckle. "Whatever you say Jish."
"I'm pulling into a spot now. I'll see you in like a minute." With that he hung up the phone.

I redirected my gaze back into the restaurant and saw that Coral was still holding Rachel and was talking to what looked like a manager. Jenna walked back out and followed my gaze.

"Is that her?" She asked snaking her arm around my waist.

Wrapping my arm around her shoulders I replied. "Yeah, Josh told me what she was wearing earlier and it matches."

"Aww she seems so sweet. While I was putting our name on the waiting list I could hear her talking to the manager. He called the police so that they can help find the girls family." Before I could respond Josh walked up beside us and beat me to it.

"What are you guys looking-" he stopped once he followed our gaze. "I didn't know she had a kid" he stated in almost disbelief. I couldn't help but chuckle.

"No dog breath, that little girl lost her family and Coral is helping her." I began explaining everything that had happened and Josh just stood there with wide eyes and a jaw that touched the floor. Once I finished he seemed to snap back.
