"Why did you drag me out of there like that?" Ella asked when they got to Ansela's car in the company's parking lot.

"Bringing him food was a bad idea." Ansela replied as she unlocked the car and got in.

"Why would you say that?" Ella placed the basket in the back seat before joining Ansela in the front.

Ansela started the car and pulled out of the parking lot after fixing her seat belt. "Didn't you see that he agreed to go to dinner with another girl? Did that not bother you at all?"

"No,should it?" Ella lied.

Ansela threw her a disbelieving look before turning her gaze back to the road. "We are going shopping."

"What about the food?"

"Give it to a stray or something."

Ella scowled at her; the girl was behaving too bratty nowadays. Why didn't anyone think to even tame her for a bit?

Her heart constricted when she remembered that William agreed to go on a date with another woman. And not just any woman,but the woman to the sister that almost killed her just yesterday.

She stared out of the window blindly without really seeing anything. Didn't he already warn her that he was not going to have anything to do with her? If so,why did he try to kiss her this morning?

Was it that he wanted to see how she would react?

Ella mentally face palmed her self. Of course,he only wanted to test his theory to see if she truly feel attracted to him,and she, a fool that she is, almost kissed him if not for the fact that Ansela came in when she did.

Something like this must not happen again. William was off limits as far as she was concerned. He is also in love with Cassie,which was all the more reason why she must stay faraway from him.

Yes. That's the only best option she has.

By the time they got home that evening with seven gigantic shopping bags,Ella was exhausted beyond reason. No one should follow Ansela out for shopping if they wanted to stay sane. Ansela made sure that they toured the Princessa Shopping Mall,the only shopping mall in uptown.

The place was really large. It was like dividing half town into two and using one side of it for the mall,except that uptown was a really big place,so the mall looked adequate, considering the population of the uptown people.

Ella recalled trying on different dresses in each clothing store they entered. And at the end of each dressing, they only bought six dresses each from the store. But the store owners didn't even complain,in fact they were happy that a Mckade decided to grace them with her presence today.

Ella smiled when she remembered how the owners fawned all over them as if they were royalties. They even went as far as getting them iced drinks and snacks.

By the time they arrived home,the sun had disappeared from the sky. Ansela,with her help,moved the heavy shopping bags to her,Ella's room. Even though she declined the items,Ansela threatened to tell William that she said that Mandalena looked like a cyclops if she refused to take them.

By the time Ella came down to cook dinner,Ansela was nowhere to be seen and Ace was already in the kitchen making sipping coffee from a blue China cup.
