Love Takes Two

Chapter Twenty-Seven.

Camps bay,California.

Alejandra Mendoza,Lea,kicked her tire with a frown and a curse. The stupid car just stopped working and the funniest part was that she didn't know anything about engine or cars.

Travels,yes,but cars,hell no.

She felt stupid for even thinking of coming all the way here to Africa just to satisfy her ever loving parents.

After what happened in Maldives three years ago, Lea never attempted another travel. Her ever loving parents got worried when she stayed home for a whole three years and five months without going on her adventures.

They tried every of their possible best to make her happy,but failed. When they couldn't take it anymore,they gave her a ticket to Camps bay and threatened not to eat if she won't go anywhere.

Which was why she agreed to this trip. Lea kicked her tire with another curse. The stupid car had to break down in the middle of nowhere. It seems as if no one even cared about what happened to her,because all the drivers who passed by,ignored her.

"Stupid shit." She groaned and kicked her tire once more.

Stomping back to the driver side,she pulled the car door open,fished out her phone from the glove compartment,then began to scroll through her contacts.

She was about to dial her father's number when a power bike,with the rider wearing an helmet,pulled up beside her.

"Hi." The person nodded at her. "What happened to you?"

"My suddenly stopped working ,and I don't have an extra." Lea groaned again. "And I don't even know where I am."

The bike rider got off the bike after putting It on full standing. "I know where you are,since I lived here all my life."

"Really?" Lea gave the person a tiny smile. "Then you can help me get a mechanic or tow truck?"

"I am a mechanic."

A tiny frown appeared on Lea's face. Judging from the person's figure,it was clear that she is a female. Never in her life did she ever hear that a lady is a mechanic.

This is a first for her.

The bike rider laughed. "Don't look so surprised. It's what I do."

Lea smiled. "You can't blame me. It's not like it's everyday you get to see a female bike rider,who is also a mechanic."

"You are right." The bike rider moved forward. "And since I would be helping you with your car, I should introduce myself properly."

The bike rider went back to her bike to carry a black bag,Lea didn't notice before. The first thing Lea saw when the bike rider pulled off her helmet was her rich,thick and straight ink coloured hair.

It tumbled past the bike riders shoulders and stopped at her spine. When the bike rider turned to face her,Lea felt her breath seize in her throat.

Shock made her immobile,even as the bike rider walked past her,bag in hand,to the front of Lea's car.

Lea's mouth opened and closed like a fish,freshly out of water. She turned when the bike rider opened the bonnet of her car and bent over to survey the engine.

The sound of the slamming of bonnet shook Lea out of her shocked state. Without thinking,she rushed to the bike rider and threw her arms around her neck.

"Ella,oh my God,Ella it's you." Lea cried and laughed at the same time. "Ella,why did you run away? Hot stuff was really worried about you. I missed you Ella."

Lea pulled back with a laugh and hugged her again. "Ella it's really you,I can't believe it. Am I dreaming? Somebody pinch me please!"

Scowling,Lea pulled back when She didn't reply.

"Ella,say something."

The bike rider gently removed Ella's hands from around her. "I think you have mistaken me for someone else. I am Aliyah Johnson,not Ella."

Lea gaped at her. "Ella,what happened to you? It's me,Lea. Alejandra Mendoza,we met in Reethi Beach in Maldives,remember?"

"Sorry,I don't know who you are or who Ella is." Aliyah held her bag tightly. "If you would excuse me,I have to go now. Don't worry about the payment,your engine was only over heating. It is cool now,should get you into town in time." She walked to her bike.

Lea followed her. "But,You are Ella. You were in love with William Mckade. You have best friend named Cassie,and also Ansela who you love every much."

"Miss,I am not Ella. I told you,I am Aliyah Johnson,I am married with two kids. Plus I love my husband very much." Aliyah swung her leg over the bike so that she was straddling it. "It's been a pleasure seeing you Miss. And if you come into town,ask around for the Johnson's Mechanic garage,they will direct you there. I would take another look at your car for you."

"But..." Lea jumped back when the bike suddenly charged forward. Before she knew it,the bike and it's rider were out of sight.

Determined to find out if El...Aliyah was telling the truth,she entered the car and followed the road leading to the town.

Uptown,Philadelphia.

"Darling?" William called out as he strode into his house.

He was met with silence. Dropping his laptop bag on a chair in the visitor's parlour,he made a beeline for the kitchen. There he found Aceline eating sliced apples.

"Ace,where is Lena?"

"Good evening sir," Ace jumped down from the stool she was sitting on. "She said she wanted to go and see her sister in the mental asylum."

"Oh," he scratched his head. "Can you please get me a glass of water?"

"Sure sir."

William watched her pour him a glass of water. He accepted it from her with a quick thank you. He returned the glass to her and his phone pinged at the same time,indicating that he had a message.

He retrieved it from his pocket.

Ace watched a frown form on his face,the it changed to surprise and finally disbelief.

"Is everything alright sir?" She questioned.

William looked up and blink as if just seeing her there for the first time. "Yes,Ace. I just got a message from Lea."

"The red haired girl from Maldives?" Ace saw the girl when she came to visit them. She liked her instantly and had been looking forward to see the girl again.

"Yes." His gaze returned to the screen of his phone. "Excuse me."

William walked to his study,closed the door before dialling Kaden's number. He was happy when his brother licked it on the first ring.

"Kaden,it's Will. I have news....yes,I know that time zones are different sorry....yeah,this is important.... How fast can you come to Camps bay with Cassie and the children?....Lea sent me a text message."

William took a deep breath. "She found Ella."
