By six pm,Ella had showered and changed into a bumper jeans, black loose shirt with blue strap sandals. She didn't bother to use any make-up, since it was evening and she was not a fan of make up anyway.

Since it was just dinner night, which would last for only about an hour or so,Ella took only her phone and the house keys. When she stepped outside, she was surprised to see Jamal leaning against the wall, waiting for her.

It seemed as if he also showered, because he had exchanged his colourful shirt from earlier to another colourful one. Only that this one had a mix of baby pink and bright lemon. Somehow, the shirt, instead of looking so out of place on him, suited him better.

To sum it all up,he looked really handsome.

"Hey." He straightened as she locked the door.

"Hey,yourself." She replied as she shoved the keys into her back pocket. "Have you been waiting that long?"

"No." He shook his head. "You look different this evening."

Smooth change of subject. Ella mused.

"Different good or different bad?"

"Definitely good." He winked at her, which made her smile.

"We better go,then I guess." She started forward with him walking beside her.

"You didn't really tell me where you are from." He said, after some minutes of silence.

"Philadelphia. You?" Ella stepped aside for a lady with a pram to pass by.

"My mother is from Ireland, while my dad is from south Africa. But I prefer Ireland."

Ella gave him an amused look when they resumed their walk without another word. Ella busied herself with studying the people they walked past. Some of them had colour shirts on like Jamal, while others were wearing beach dresses.

Ella sighed in content. Her step faltered ,when she got to the edge of the Stilts, at the sight of the setting sun. The last rays casted an enchanting glow over the sea, making it look like a sea of fire, but a breathtaking sea of fire.

"Let's go or we would get the last seats." Jamal reached for her arm,but she pulled her arm away.

"Give me just a minute." She took out her phone and took quick pictures of the view. "Isn't it beautiful?"

"What?" He raised an eyebrow at the view, his expression clearly saying that he didn't see what she was seeing.

"Never mind. Let's go."

Ella took one last look at the view, before getting down the stilts onto the white powder sand. After much walking and searching, they finally spotted a seat with which was closer to the small stage that have been set up in their absence.

Each table had four seats each and every table, except theirs had four people seating down around it.

Ella didn't mind though. It felt good to seat at just observe the view rather than to be included in it. She basked in the laughter and conversations that was going on all around.

"You look content."

Ella turned to see Jamal staring at her with an unreadable look on his face. She shifted a bit under his gaze and shrugged but didn't answer.

"I see that you don't talk that much, can I interest you in a conversation?" He tried again.

"What do you want to talk about?" She decided to finally humor him.

"Anything you are willing to share."

"Okay." She pushed a strand of her hair out of her face. "As you already know,my name is Ella Milestone. I came from Philadelphia and I am an orphan. There."
