Glancing at my Grandmother,I see her give me a disappointing and disapproving look.

Well what does she expect? This is one of the people I grew up with!

I'm 17 and I haven't seen them since I was 14. I turned back to the letter and ran my tongue over my lip piercing,something I always did when I was nervous,as I realized something.

The paper wasn't even in an envelope.That means it wasn't delivered by the mail man.

Is he here,in Chicago? Are they all here?

Quickly leaving my thoughts,I quickly unfolded the paper,anxious to read it.

'Dear,Jaxx

Hey babe! It's been a while hasn't it? We haven't seen you in years,but I'm happy to let you know that's about to change. We're in Chicago! That's great isn't it? Fuck yeah it is. We're all pretty excited to see you,especially me. I mean why wouldn't we be? Three years without seeing your beautiful face,is Hell. Pulling off raids and stuff without you doesn't even feel the same. Not without our girl. But as of right now,no more years shall pass!

Well anyway,we'll meet again today. Be ready.

I chuckled as I finished reading the letter. He's always been cocky. But I was suprised that he wants to get back together. The whole reason we broke up was because of distance,but I thought he would've been with someone else by now...not that I'm complaining. We did have a good relationship.

I walked over to the kitchen table and sat in the chair across from my Grandma,the note in my hands. She rubbed her temples and sighed dramatically as she looked at me while I stared at the note.

"Are,"she started but paused. She swallowed the lump in her throat and closed her eyes before continuing.

"Are you going to meet back up with them?" she asked,hesitantly,causing me to look up at her with my eyes narrowed in confusion.
