It was a calm evening in the café and I was looking at the kids playing in the shop who came along with their parents. Soon another customer came. The face looked familiar to me from far as the person moved closer it was Ajay and soon his wife accompanied him.
He was in complete shock when he saw me. I didn't make any eye contact with him. I greeted his wife as soon as she approached the front desk. She greeted back and said do you have black forest cake and looked at Ajay for his choice. I stopped her in between and said ma'am you like to try choco lave cake I knew that was Ajay favorite. As Ajay shook his head to his wife. Then we will take two she said and asked me to pack it.
She went out to answer the call. That's when Ajay tried to talk to me. How are you Tanya he asked with great excitement? I smiled and said I'm amazing and better than before. You may leave now I said he first couldn't take in the fact what I told him but later nodded at me and asked for the bill I said you don't have to pay this is from me to you sweet wife he denied it asked me for the bill but I made sure he goes without paying. You are a very strong person he said while leaving and I replied by saying maybe a waved to his wife as both ofthem left the café. I just felt happy for his wife deep down.
