THE GIRL WITH A WISH

That one wish

I met him at an unknown place but I never knew later after a year I would fall hard for him.

It was cold winter night as me and my friend we took a walk among the greenest of garden. As the moon guided us our way to the end of the lane. As we moved we noticed a shining star move across the sky.

"Wish something" my friend whispered looking at the moving star. I didn't at a Very beginning when she insisted much. I held myself back with the cold breeze hitting on my face, looked at the star and wished for something which will never come true.

My friend saw the spark in the eyes and said "I'm sure your wish is gonna come true". I cracked a smile and said "I wished for something which will never happen" And headed back home

That night I never thought that my wish will come true. Yes it did, I was proved wrong by my own thoughts. My wish that night came true.

Yes I met him rightly after a week I made that wish. At that point I didn't know that he was the one who I wished for but days rolled by proved that he is the only one. It's been 3 months since we met as friend. I didn't realize that I had a special bond with him till then. Another 3 months flew like a wind and that was the time I saw my special connectivity with him. He was something special, Very special actually. His eyes had something to say each time. The feeling that I owed towards him was Very special.

It was a quite calm day at work. Usual schedule, boss held a meeting for our sales management department. We discussed new plans to improve our business to a new level. Arjun moved to the sales management soon after the meeting under the guidelines given by our sales team head. I don't know why it happened for some reason I felt so happy for Arjun moving to sales management department along with me.

That's when we start moving with each other closely. Next day morning soon as I entered the office, Arjun looked at me and walk to my desk. He greeted me with a smile and said Tanya I'm glad we both are in sales. Work becomes much more comfortable when it's done with known people. I laughed and said "yes yes that is for sure".

From that day we started talking over texts too. Days moved and we become much closer. At times we worked together late in the nights to reach our sales target. He made sure I reach home every night I travelled alone. At times he dropped me off too.

It was our big day at office. We reached our targets and the profit gained was much higher than we thought. So our company head asked us party that night in the office. Past few days were completely stressful for me. As my feelings for Arjun increased. I knew that the party was the right time to tell him how much I liked him.

That night when the party start Arjun looked so smart than he could ever look. Dressed in black shirt with well matched grey pants and a black shoes. He looked at me and smiled and said you look fabulous today. I was Dressed in a blue formal dress with my favourite heels to go with. I hid my blush and said Thanks. By the time I could say you look handsome too. The party announcement started.

Arjun was name the best man of the office as his efforts to the sales department was really effective. I was so happy for him and congratulated him. He turned to me and said "don't you think you are one of the reason for this". I laughed at said "don't get emotional, I will always stand by you no matter what". He replied to me looking into my eyes "I'm not emotional I'm straight forward and I tell my feelings and you are the one who really stood for me and you played a big part". I blushed at him and he smiled back at me. We both stood next to each other and exchanged smiles till the company head finished his speech. It was dinner time. As everyone headed to the dinner table as I decided to head out and sit on the bench outside on the lawn and to spend some time alone. Arjun came up to me and said "don't you wanna try the panner fries it's really yummy". I said I will.

And started to look at the starts again. He sat next to me and said "I really feel something different about us". Don't you feel the same Tanya? He asked me I said "I don't understand what you are talking about" and winked at him. He laughed at me and said you really don't understand. I said "yes, I really don't understand" and laughed harder.

He held my hand and said you are the greatest thing that happened to me. I smiled and said I know that. He said it's time I tell you a truth. I was expecting this all this evening I said. As he turned me over and pointed towards Tia one of our co Worker from the commercial department and said "Tia and I have started dating since last month, and I would like to let you know that because you always wish the best for me". I trashed, my heart stopped a beat every time he spoke to me about her. I returned back home. As I couldn't control myself I cried so hard. As I saw my best man of by life liked someone else but not me.
