The Blue Eyed Wolf's Power.

Chapter 16.

Amber's POV.

I hope Kurt and Cassandra have a good time tonight. Tasha and I helped her pack a dinner for their date.

From what I know about her so far, she'd be more likely to kiss him first.

Kurt may be the Alpha's son, and he may be to busy most of the time to do anything with the relationship, which is why he would need a mate like Cassandra. She will do what she can to make sure they move along with their relationship. Cassandra will make an amazing Luna.

I am currently laying on the bed next to a sleeping Connor. He was so tired when he got back.

We ate something and went straight to bed. It's currently in the middle of the night right now. He looks so calm and peaceful when he sleeps.

I just love looking at his face while he's sleeping. I can almost see what the vampire Edward in the Twilight book was talking about when he was watching Bella sleep.

However, I wouldn't watch Connor sleep all night. Hey, I'm not a Vamp. I need sleep too.

I kiss Connor on his cheek  I then get up out of bed and start walking to the bathroom.

I can't fall asleep. I'm going to take a warm shower, then get something small to eat before heading back to bed.

I walk over to my dresser and pull out some fresh undergarments before heading to the bathroom again.

I walk in and go to the closet that's there behind the door when it's opened.

I grab a towel and washcloth before starting up the shower and making sure the door is closed.

I take my hair out of the small pony tail it was in and look at myself in the mirror.

I'm almost beginning to like that bit of blue left in my eye from when Connor healed me with his power.

I slightly chuckle before undressing and hoping into the shower.

The warm water feeling amazing running down my body. Soothing the tense muscles in my back and shoulders.

Today was my first day training so I'm a bit sore afterwards. I just stand there and feel the warmth a bit longer before I start washing my hair.

Once I'm down with the shower I turn off the water and dry off before walking out.

I get dressed and drying my hair, making sure it's straight before leaving it down, putting everything up and finally making my way downstairs to get some food.

I walk into the kitchen before opening the door to the cabinets. I reach up and bring out some cookies.

I set it down on the counter before opening it and grabbing a cookie

As I start to eat I start to talk to my wolf.

' Connor was pretty tired when he came home today.' I say.

' Well he is doing pretty hard training. I'm not surprised. Though a goodnight kiss would have been nice.' Says my wolf back.

I chuckled. ' True. It would have
However, it is nice to call our home his home too.' I say.

' Yes that is very nice. ' says my wolf.

I hear footsteps and look to see Connor walking up. " What are you doing up?" I say.

" I could ask you the same thing." Says Connor.

" I couldn't sleep. I took a shower. Now I'm eating a small snack before trying to fall asleep again. " I say.

" You could have woken me up to talk if you were having trouble sleeping. " says Connor.

" You were really tired. I didn't want to bother you. " I say.

" Amber you're my mate. You could never bother me. " says Connor.

I smile and hold up a cookie. " I know you want one." I say.

He chuckled and takes it. " You know me well. " he says.

Together we eat a few cookies before I put it back and we start making our way back upstairs.

" I have some news I meant to tell you when I got home." Says Connor.

I look at him confused. Then I suddenly feel my wolf freaking out with joy.

" My wolf talked to me for the first time in over a year today. My wolf went silent when My mother died and my father turned his back on me. I finally heard from my wolf today." Says Connor.

My eyes widen and I quickly wrap my arms around his neck before kissing him.

He caught me and kissed back. " That's amazing Connor. " I say once we broke away.

He chuckled. " I also made it passed Kurt and you're brother about five times today with the training because of my wolf. " says Connor.

" You did amazing Connor. I'm proud of you." I say.

He smiles brightly at me and we go into my room and lay back down. Now I know why my wolf was so happy.

I wonder if my wolf is able to talk to his wolf through our mate link.

I almost jump when Connors fingers brush over the spot he marked me.

I look at him and smile. " The marks from the chains are almost gone. " I say feeling the side of his face.

" Awesome right." Says Connor.

I laugh. " Yes, it's awesome. " I say.

" I still love that little bit of blue in you're eye now. " says Connor.

" I'm beginning to love  it myself. " I say.

He smiles at me more. He brushes some of my hair behind my ear. " You're beautiful to me no matter what." He says.

I smile and kiss him. He kisses back. " That was the goodnight kiss I wanted. " I say.

" Then here's the one I wanted. " he says before kissing me again. It was gentle, but held a lot of love and passion.

When he breaks away I smile before snuggling into his chest.

He wraps his arms around me and hugs me closer to him before resting his head back.

I smile. " I love you Connor. " I say.

" I love you too Amber. I always will." He says, and with that we both fall asleep for the rest of the night.
