Chapter 34.

John's POV.

She's beautiful. That's all I can think of right now.

Amelia is currently asleep on the couch. I had a bit of work to do since my father is gone, so while I worked she took a nap.

Once I was done I sat down in a chair to watch her. That may sound weird, but I don't care.

She's beautiful. I never imagined my mate would be a rogue. However, she's perfect to me.

I look at the time and see its nearly one in the afternoon. I get up and go to the fridge.

Since I'm hopeless at cooking without Amber here to help, I decided the best thing to do would be make sandwiches.

I pull out bread and jelly. I then go to the pantry and bring out peanut butter jar.

I then walk back to the stove and start making some sandwiches for myself and Amelia.

Once I'm done I put everything up and look to see she's waking up.

I walk in as she sits up. " I hope you're hungry. " I say passing over a plate.

She smirks. " Ohh sandwiches. Looks good. " she says.

" I'm hopeless in the kitchen so I made what I could. " I say.

" I'll have to teach you a few things then." She says.

" I look forward to it. " I say.

" Thank you by the way." Says Amelia.

I smile and she moves so I can sit next to her. Together the two of us eat.

' Hey, quick question. Does Amelia know how to fight?' Asks Kurt over mind link.

' I'm not sure. I'll ask now and give you an answer as soon as I can.' I reply.

' Ok, take you're time. ' he says back.

I look over at Amelia. " Hey. Kurt wants me to ask you a question and to be honest, I'm quite curious about this too." I say.

Amelia looks over. " Ok. Ask away."

" Do you know how to fight? " I say.

" Define fight." She says.

" You know, fight. Like normal werewolf training." I say.

She looks as if she debating something in her mind, like she's not sure how to answer me or she's trying to decide if she should tell me.

" When I was young my parents did something very bad that got the three of us banished from our pack, therefor banishing us from every pack. They were killed over time and I was taken in by the boss rogue, so all I know about fighting is what I've learned as a rogue, such as stealth, dodging and just fight to the death." She finally replies.

" Fight to the death?" I question.

She looked at the last bit of the sandwich on her plate.

" Sometimes some of the rogues would get into horrible arguments and would go out into a small arena and start fighting. They wouldn't stop unless the boss rogue made them or one of them was dead. Then no one moved the bodies and they stayed there to rot. " says Amelia.

" You grew up in that? Holy crap that's awful. " I say. I remember when we went to save Amber there was a clear area of dead grass died a dark color, that must mean it was blood. There were bones and skulls around meaning that was what was left of the rogues that lost fights.

" It wasn't that awful. I mean, the worst part was the smell of the decomposing bodies when you got close enough. " she says.

" Still, no child should ever have to go through that. I'm sorry you did. " I say.

She smiled at me. " I wish it had been different, but thanks for caring." She says kissing me on the cheek.

I smile. " You let Kurt know my answer. I'm going to set this up and go use the restroom. "  she says before getting up.

' She's spent her entire life as a rogue. All she knows is stealth, dodging and a fighting to the death. ' I say.

' Fight to the death?' Questions Kurt.

' As she grew up she had to watch rogues fight to the death over stupid reasons and they watch the bodies rot away. ' I say.

' Dang. Well, I guess we can teach her how to fight and she can help us with a bit of stealth.' Says Kurt.

' Are you saying you want Amelia to help train some wolves?' I say.

' I'm going to need help. We go to prepare the pack for war. While we prepare the pack grounds, I'm going to have Cassandra, Tasha and Clayton teach the pack members that can fight what they need to know and I'm hoping Amelia can help with the training.' Says Kurt.

I smile. ' That would be amazing. You trust her enough for that?' I say.

' I trust that her word to protect her new pack was true, also she will be with Cassandra, Clayton and Tasha. She will not be alone, but if she's willing to teach and prove her commitment to this pack. Then I will trust her fully.' Says Kurt.

' Understandable. I will talk to her and let you know if she's ok with helping train.' I says.

' Thank you for you're help John. ' says Kurt.

Amelia then walks back. " Ok I have a question." I say.

" Again I say, ask away. " says Amelia.

"  Ok, so we're about to start preparing the entire pack for a pack war and those who are able to fight will be taught by Kurt's mate Cassandra, Clayton and his mate Tasha, and Kurt wanted to know if you would help the three of them and train others wolves how to do stealth better. " I say.

She looks shocked. " He wants me to help train?" She asks.

" Yes and when you're not training stealth you can train on the others things you need to know. What do you say?" I ask.

She smiles brightly. " I would be honored. " she says.

I grin wildly. " Thank you. You're going to do amazing." I say.

' She said she'd do it.' I say to Kurt.

' Good. Come to the pack house in two hours and We will show her around. Tomorrow is when training will start. We're having a pack dinner tonight by the way. To announce the pack war and the new pack member so being a change of clothes for then. ' says Kurt.

' Understood. See you then.' I say.

I then look at her. " We're having a pack dinner tonight. To announce you as the new member and to announce the pack war. He also wants us  to show you around. " I say.

" Looking forward to it." She says sitting back down next to me.

The take the remote and turn on the tv and together we spend the next hour watching some tv before getting ready and finally heading towards the pack house.
