IT WAS A SITE TO SEE. When most people think of dragon slayers, they think strong warriors but in reality, they were just a bunch of try hard fools. Y/ N, along with the rest of Fairy Tail B team, watched as Natsu, Gajeel and Sting threw there brains up.
Once again, she was next to Juvia, with a puzzled look on her face. She turned to look at, Lis her eyebrows scrunched together in confusion.
"It really does make you worry about there mental state, doesn't it,"
"Yeah, it really does,"
They were competing in a game called Chariot. The name should have given it away but Natsu wasn't the smartest person. She watched as Sting slowly made his way along the moving vehicle. A smirk formed on her face.
She looked over at Laxus, his face was a clammy pale colour. She chuckled and moved closer her brother. "You alright Laxus, you seem a bit pale,"
He glared at her, knowing what she was doing.
"I'm fine,"
"Do you get motion sickness Laxus?" Mira said.
"Just don't tell Natsu about it," he mumbled not daring to look at anyone. She laughed and put her attention back to the race.
"Talk about uncool, anyone can see you've got no strength left, your just making fools of yourselves," Sting said. He was stood in place while Natsu and Gajeel tried to move forward.
"Fine, you can have this win Sabertooth is just going to keep racking up the points after this, in the end, one little point won't change the outcome," Sting continued.
"One point is nothing to scoff at kid don't you forget that," Gajeel said on his hands and knees.
"Can you explain something to me, why did you even enter the torment, you're nothing like the Fairy tail I knew growing up, your obsessed with how strong you are and what the rest of the world thinks of you, what happened to the Fairy tail of my childhood, the Fairy Tail that did what it wanted when it wanted. They didn't care what everyone else thought of them,"Sting's voice was harsh, almost like he was judging them with his words.
"The reason we're here is for a friends, the ones who waited for us for all the years we were gone, who fought through the pain and the heartache, they were humiliated but even so they stayed strong and they kept out guild together where doing this for all of them and we're gonna make sure that everyone here knows, the Fairy Tail guild never gave up not for an instant so there's no way I'm gonna give up now!" Natsu shouted.
A smile found its way onto the girls face. This was why she loved her guild. They had such a strong connection to each other that they were willing to die for the protection of the guild.
And yet she couldn't tell them what she really was.
She smiled as she saw Natsu and Gajeel being taken to the infirmary.
Y/N walked back to the balcony. She had gone to visit the two dragon slayers and help Wendy heal them. The smell of burning cinnamon filled the air and sounds of grunting ran through her ears.
She walked around the corner to see Sting. His back was pushed up against the wall and his normal sun-kissed skin was sweaty and pale.
"Well if it isn't the undefeatable, all-powerful Sting Euclffe,"
He looked up to see Y/N, a small smile on her face. He chuckled as his back slid down the wall and he landed on the floor.
"Its true isn't it, all that stuff about family and friendship," His voice was almost bitter when he spoke.
And for the second time today, she was confused.
"Well, of course, I care about my friends more than myself, I would die for them. Would you die for yours? Would they die for you?"
He didn't answer, his eyes moved to the ground. He was thinking. "Whatever," He mumbled trying to get up but he quickly fell back to the ground. His legs stretched out as he threw his head back.
"Are you okay?" She crouched down and put her hand on his head.
"It's just motion sickness,"
"Sit down, let me help you,"
"I don't need your help,"
"We all need help sometimes Sting, even you,"
A purple light came out of the girl's hand and travelled to Sting's body. He freaked out at first but when he felt himself become better. When she finished, she placed her hands by her sides and got up. Sting had a shocked look on her face but scrambled up to his feet.
"How did you do that?"
"With magic,"
"Well, I knew that," he said. "But it felt so nice like I was floating" He added.
"You mean it felt like the galaxy,"
"Yeah."
"Well, I have to go so bye,"
"Thank you!" She heard Sting yell at her.
"Did the great Sting Eucliffe just thank me, wow do you have a soft spot for me?"
"I do not!" he yelled at her.
But she knew he did. And maybe he did too.
Sting watched as she disappeared from his site. He felt his cheeks heat up and he could tell that he was blushing. He turned back around and made his way to his guild.
"Hi, Sting do you feel better now?" Lector asked.
"Yep, I'm fine,"
"Really you have healed up quicker than normal," Rouge said.
"I have no memory of you recovering this fast," Rufus said moving up his hat to take a look at Sting.
"Yeah, what's your little trick?" Orga said joining the conversation.
"Y/N, she was the one that helped you," Rouge said.
"How did you know that?"
"I can smell her 'intoxicating' on you,"
"Oh Y/N, the one in Fairy tail, do you have a crush on fairy girl over there," Orga said pointing over to her. "Well she is quite the beauty I have to admit" he added.
