' DEATH IN WAR '

NATSU HAD JUST finished his little speech about how all the dragon slayers had to fight the dragons and everyone else had to fight the little ones.

Seven dragons came out of the gate but they had eight dragon slayers.

Y/N had been running around the broken city for a very long time and she hadn't found anyone. She kept running until the very familiar scent of burning cinnamon and whisky filed her nose.

She smirked and followed the scent until she saw a dragon in the distance surrounded by white light.

Y/N clenched her fist and let out some magic, she ran to it and jumped into the air and slammed her fist into its back. She landed on the ground as the dragon let out a roar of pain.

"Y/N what are you doing here!" Sting yelled running up to her.

"Fighting dragons, what about you," she said with a smirk.

"You know just dragon hunting," he said with another smirk.

"You're both dragon slayers," the dragon said to them. He looked down at the pair like they were bugs that he could crush under his feet.

If only he knew what she was.

"Hell yeah, we are!" Sting yelled at the dragon.

"Well come on then, fight me!!"

The two of them both looked at each other and smirked before charging at the beast.

The two had been fighting for hours, along with everyone else, Y/N only had a couple of scratches on her body but she was mostly unharmed.

"You call your selves dragon slayers!" The dragon's voice was loud and made the air around them vibrate.

Y/N looked over at Sting who was covered in scratches and cuts. His breath was heavy and looked exhausted.

"Sting stay back, you're tired let me handle this," she stepped forward.

"N-no, I have to help you fight," he said trying to stand up.

"No Sting sit," She said to him. "I've got this,"

"You think you can beat me human! I am a dragon you can't be-" she cut him off by smashing her fist into his face.

It sent the dragon back a bit. She landed back on the ground.

"Galaxy dragon roar!!!"

A beam of bright purple/blue light shot out of her mouth colliding with the dragon.The dragon went flying backwards crashing into some buildings.

"That hurt, human,"

"Too bad for you I'm not human,"

The two of them fought for a while, Y/N sent the dragon into some buildings but he did get some hits in.

The dragon began to let out a deadly roar that made Y/N place her hands over her ears. She didn't see the ball of magic coming towards her. By the time she saw it, the ball had hit her and sent her into a building.

"Y/N!!" Sting yelled, he stumbled to his feet and ran towards her body on the ground.

She grunted and used her hands to push herself up. "That was rude," She mumbled to herself. "I'm fine Sting," She said getting to her feet.

"No your not let me help you! You got shot into a building! How are you not dead!"

"I'm fine I can beat it!"

"No! I promised that I would protect you no matter what! So I am not leaving you!" He yelled angrily and pulled her closer to him.

"We fight it together or not at all," he said to her.

Knowing that he wasn't going to say no, she nodded her head and turned back to look at the dragon.

"Together."

"You think fighting tougher will help you beat me! Don't be foolish!" The dragon roared at them.

She smiled and bit her lip as she looked over at Sting who had grown into dragon force. She wasn't going to lie, he looked very attractive.

She knocked those thoughts out of her mind and entered her dragon force. Galaxy scales travelled up her arms and some on her cheekbones. Her hair turned galaxy and she seemed to have the galaxy in her eyes.

It was Stings turn to bite his lip and smirk at her. He watched as the light from her magic lit up her body and highlighted her best features.

"Looking good babe,"

"Don't call me that!" She shouted jumping up into the air and landing a hit on the dragon. Sting sent a blast of magic at the dragon' leg and it fell to the ground sending out a loud roar.

"I am going to enjoy killing you both!"

"Not if we kill you first!"

The two had managed to injure the dragon quite a bit but the two were running out of magic power. It was unseen and unexpected, the blast travelled so fast and so strong that Y/N herself didn't see it. It hit Sting, sending him into the rubble of the city and knocked him unconscious.

"Sting!!!"

"You're all on your own know little girl," the dragon mocked her.

She ran over to his body and put her hand on his cheek. She moved some of his hair out of his face and laid a gentle kiss on his forehead.

"You told me before that you weren't human, so tell me what are you," It said to me swinging its claw at me. She jumped into the air and dodged it.

"Do you really want to know what I am?" she said with a smirk. "I don't want to give you nightmares,"

"Stop mocking me and just tell me!" He yelled at her.

"My name is Y/N L/N, daughter of the Zeus king of the Gods and next in line to the throne of Utopia! So you won't beat me!" She spat at him.

The dragon's eyes widened and it took a step back. "Y-you! Stay back!" It yelled at her.

It sent a gust of wind at her picking up bits of dirt on the way. She put her arms in front of her face to stop it from hitting her.

"Y/N Look out!!"

By the time, she moved her hands out of her face and saw two green lasers coming towards her. She was expecting the lasers to rip through her body but she felt nothing.

But what she did see was sting's body being shot through.

The blood splattered off of Sting and onto Y/N. She watched as his body fell to the ground.
