' ANYNA, A BLAST FROM THE PAST'

★·.·'¯'·.·★

THE TWO HAD been walking through the overgrown forest for a just about an hour. The thickness of the leaves and lush plant life was a little overwhelming for Sting who had never seen anything like it before. However, his mind drifted back to the iPhone she was using.

"So you can text on this phone thing?" Sting asked still trying to understand what it was.

"Yes, it is like writing letters but just easier," she replied walking through the forest, moving some branches out of her face.

"Okay then. How long till we get there?" He asked.

   "Soon," she added dully.

She continued to move the leaves out of her face and step over the large rocks and patches of flowers on the ground. She smiled widely when a bright light made her look up from the ground. The feeling of pure magic sunk into their bodies and sent fireworks through them.

"Do you feel that?" Sting asked still dazed from the magic energy.

Y/N nodded and continued her journey to the source of the energy. It wasn't what Sting expected. He thought that there would be bright colours flashing all over the ground and rising up. But, it was only a bright blue outline of a door.

"Thats it?" Sting asked slightly disappointed. He looked around to see if there was anything else, but there wasn't. "I thought that there would be more," he walked past Y/N and closer to the door. The bright blue light highlighted his already stunning features. His eyes were narrowed as he studied the door in great detail. Y/N smiled as she watched from behind him.

"Sting, you're going to fall into the pond," Y/N laughed as she grabbed his hand and pulled him away from the circle of water.

Sting looked down and sent a dorky smile to Y/N and thanked her. "That was a close one,"

She smiled at him and diverted her eyes back down to there interlocked hands. A faint blush covered her cheeks and she quickly let go.

"You don't have to let go, you can hold it for as long as you want" Sting said softly. She shook her head and looked away. Focus on the mission.

"You should hold his hand child," a mysterious voice called out. It was a females, soft and gently.

  "What was that?" Sting asked.

"I don't know. Let's go and find out" she said following the voice. Sting watched from behind as she walked away. He was shocked, normally, he was the one who would make a stupid discussion.

"Wait up!" Sting yelled running after her.

The two came to a clearing in the forest. Unlike the one by the portal, this one was will filled to the brim with trees.

Thick roots came up from the ground and joined tougher to make what looked like the top part of a person.

    "Wow..." Sting said amazed.

"There is no need to be alarmed human, I mean you no harm," The voice said to Sting.

"Ayna," Y/N smiled and walked closer to an old friend. She was completely made out of trees. Random branches made up her body and face.

"Hello, Y/N. Welcome back," She said. Her voice was calm and soft toned.

"Thank you" Y/N said. "How are you?" She asked.

"I am fine, just old," She said.

Y/N smiled lightly at her and grabbed Sting's hand and pulled him next to her. "Ayna, this is Sting,"

She looked at Sting and smiled softly. "I see that you care for the Princess a lot, does he treat you well?" Ayna asked her.

Y/N chocked on the air and quickly let go of Sting. "No! W-Where not dating or anything,"

She looked at me strangely and then looked at Sting. "But I can sense a strong amount of love coming from the boy for you, and some love coming off you for him," She states.

"We should go!" Y/N took hold of Sting's wrist and pulled him away.

  "Wait! Y/N," Ayna yelled.

Y/N looked back around to see Ayna had a very different facial expression. Her eyes held sorrow and sadness as she looked at the young princess.

"I am so sorry for your loss"

Y/N and Sting's eyes were closed as the bright white light shone from the portal as they entered the angle section. They were standing on a cloud. It was a truly beautiful place filled with pastel colours and whites.

Sting took his time and looked around. He smiled when small parts of the clouds they were standing on flew up tickled his face. "This place is amazing,"

Y/N chuckled and nodded. She loved seeing Sting like this. She thought he looked quite cute. "So this is the angel's section," Sting asked. He started to move in circles, taking in more of his surrounding.

"Yes, it is. Come we have to get to the castle," She said taking his wrist once again.

"We're going to the castle! It is massive!" He yelled.

"Yeah, well the one in Olympus is bigger," She said with a slight smirk on her face.

They trailed up the small path to the castle. Y/N felt slightly nervous as they got closer to the gate. She wasn't sure if they would help her. She knew that the Gods and angle had a closer friendship but she didn't know what her mother had done while she had been gone.

Meanwhile, Sting wanted to know what Y/N's mother had done to get this much hate from her daughter. It had been pulling at his brain since he found out about her.

   "Y/N,"

   "Yes,"

"What did your mother do? I know it is a touchy subject but what did she do?" Sting asked.

Y/N stopped, her body tensed as memories flowed her mind and not nice ones. Sting noticed this and took his wrist out of her hand. He walked in front of her.He saw the pain in her eyes, her big sad eyes.

But he also saw something he had never seen in her eyes before. Fear. He saw fear in her eyes and it scared him.

"Hey, you don't have to tell me," he said taking her hands.

It all sounded like white noise to the girl. Too many memories, too many.
She wrapped her arms around Sting's stomach and cried onto his shoulder.

Sting wrapped his arms around the girl and held her tight, not wanting to let go. "Shhhh, it's ok. You don't have to tell me," He said.

"No, I want to tell you. Just not now," She said. Sting nodded and let go of her as she let go of him.

"Come, we are close," She said walking with Sting by her side.
