Undercover Love (A One Direction Fanfic)

Chapter 4

Wynter's P.O.V.

We slip through the roof and close it just as Niall walks in the room and sees us standing there in all black looking suspicious. I hide my gun behind my back and roll my eyes. Damn, I'm gonna have to hurt this kid aren't I? Maddy looks at me for help and I take my finger and slide it across my throat. Maddy shakes her head profusely and I head to my bag in the back. 

"Hey Niall, what are you doing up so late?" she asks him suspicously.

"I could ask you the same thing,uh, Maddy right?" he shoots back at her. I laugh because I can imagine Maddy's face. She's probably thouroughly offended that he doesn't even know her name. When she answers next I can hear she's hurt in her voice. She can't be, I mean they just met us today while we've been stalking them for almost a year. Yeah, our job before we actually go on a mission is to learn as much as we can on them. I know things about that kid that his mother probably doesn't even know. I grab the "perfume bottle" I've been looking for and head back to where they're standing.

"Niall since we'll be on tour tomorrow I really want to smell good." I say setting up the trap. He nods like he doesn't care, because he doesn't and tries to walk away.

"Can you smell this new perfume?" I ask. He nods and gets really close thinking he'll sniff my body. At the last minute I lift up the bottle and spritz it in his face. He instantly knocks out and falls on the floor. 

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?!!" Maddy yells panicking. I pass her the bottle a she reads it out loud.

"Forget-Me-Not."

It's a spy "perfume" that allows the user to instantly forget what happened in the past 10 minutes. I drag Niall's body to his bed and lay him down. Maddy, being the creep she is, kisses him on the forehead. Maddy then lays down next to him and cuddles up. I face palm myself and walk away. I'm going to have to get her later tonight. Especially if she thinks she's going to SLEEP there. Us spies never sleep, it's simply not allowed. When we're born, they place a genetic enhancement in our bodies so we don't feel the need to sleep. Maddy's body is immune to the genetic enhancement so she's constantly trying to fall asleep. But, I won't have it, she better learn to love coffee!

I grab my book and read by the window light. Pretty soon, I hear Maddy's light snoring. I roll my eyes and slam my book down getting ready to drag her out by her hair. Honestly, she's being kinda creepy, who lays in bed with a guy who is unconscious?! I get up but Harry comes from the back shirtless. He says in a sleepy voice "Well, you're up early Wynter." I nod and slowly sit back down. "I'm so used to getting up early that now I do that on the weekend." I nod again and then roll my eyes. "Attitude so early in the morning, what did I do to deserve it?" he complains. 

"Can you put on a shirt, not everyone wants to see that." I complain. Then I get up and walk to Niall's room. I grab Maddy's hair and pull her out the bed. Mind you, she's still sleeping, I have to slap her for her to be fully aware. Worst spy by far, but I still love her. I slap her and she jumps up "I SWEAR I'VE BEEN AWAKE THIS WHOLE TIME!!" I laugh a little and walk back out to shirtless Harry. Maddy makes it obvious she's enjoying the view but I roll my eyes again. 

"Honestly, I've never met a directioner that doesn't wanna see me half-naked." he says.

"Well, I never claimed I was a directioner." I mumble only loud enough for Maddy to hear.
