Once there lived a prince, a very vain prince, who thought himself very important, and crucial to the wellbeing of the castle he lived in. He would have his maids, make him look, what he thought was handsome,to get ready for the upcoming ball. With Garderobe singing opera, just as a finishing touch to his ball, he danced with any lady he wanted to, and that was perfectly fine with him. Just when all was going absolutely divinely perfect, a cloaked black figure burst in through the doors, and hunched down from the raging storm outside. "Who are you?" Demanded the prince. "I have only come to shelter from the storm." The women told him, "and I have a rose for you." The prince scoffed. "Why would I need a rose from you?" He spat at her. "Get out of my castle at once." He ordered. All of a sudden, the old beggar turned into a gorgeous white angel like figure. "You did not show kindness, to anyone, and for that you shall be cursed, cursed to be a hideous beast, and everyone living in the castle will be turned into talking objects." The prince struggled to find words. " I am sorry" he said, but it was too late. The enchantress imprisoned him in a spell that could only be broken if he found true love. Then the people living in the castle would be turned back to their true forms. For now they were talking and moving antiques. The enchantress thought that breaking the the curse was impossible, for who could ever love a beast?............
