"Life isn't the same without Ara"

Ate Aby told me with the disappointment in her eyes

I'm just a 17 year-old girl so how would I even know? Volleyball is my dream but I guess it's not my passion.

Ara said with her most calmly and sweet voice

"Hay DaughterF! Sige na nga. Magpractice ka pa Mika, you have the height, you just need to believe in yourself." Ate Aby smiled and walked towards the door of Razon.

"Yeye talaga! Life savior mo na ata toh eh" Kim splashed her forever annoying grinning face

"Daks oh! Inaaway ako" I looked at Ara and pouted my lips.

Ara told Kimmy with authority

I just stucked-out tongue symbolizing that I won. BWAHAHAHA!

You protected me in the smallest and largest problems that I faced in my life. You are my Life Savior. You made me stronger because you always remind me that by the end of the day, you'll still their holding my hands, supporting and cheering for me.

"Focus guys! We are eyeing for the W. Iwasan niyong tumingin sa mga nanonood at magpadala sa mga boos and cheers ng mga tao. Mawawala lang focus niyo diyan." Ate Cha told us when Coach Ramil called for a time out.

Coach Ramil told eyes with trust in her eyes.

Kinakabahan ako. The venue is really big and the crowd too. I can't stop myself from overthinking that I might disappoint my teammates, coaches and the Lasallian community.

As I'm trying to overthink things, I felt warm hands touching my trembling and cold hand. Before I tried looking the person who held my hand, I heard a voice.

"Kaya mo yan. Kaya natin 'to." I know it's her. It's always her. Ara.

"Thank you. Kakayanin!" I tried to cheer myself and walked towards the court.

You cheered for me every single time I questioned myself not just a player but also as person. You never fail to make me feel the best in everything I do. You are my #1 fan even though I am my #1 doubter.

"Daks! Umiyak ka raw sabi nila Cienne? Anong nangyari? Kamusta yung test mo?" Ara asked me without even letting herself to breath

I shouted and cried as if I'm having tantrums
