I was on my way to the hospital. I was in track practice when my phone rang and I answered , My dad told me that my brother had got shot while he was walking out of the house. We still aren't sure who shot at him yet , but as soon as he told me Shy'Bree had gotten shot I grabbed my stuff , I ain't have no shoes on or nothing Jesus , I ran out of there as fast as I could. Not even saying a good bye to anybody , I didn't even tell the coach I had to go. He will understand.

I was inside the waiting room asking for information on what room Shy'Bree was in but these loud mouth nurses act like they can't help me or nothing , after this I'm filing a complaint. I bet these ugly ass nurses won't have a job then.

'' May I help you with something ma'am?'' A male nurse had asked me as I waited at the desk for information to be given to me. '' Yes. I need to know what room my brother Shy'Bree Jordan is in please.'' I asked politely as I began to become impatient. 

''Oh , he's in room two-thirty-two , second floor.'' The man said as he looked into the computer and got the information as he handed me a visitors pass.

As soon as I was handed the paper I ran through the halls as I ducked and dodged from people who were in my way, Finally making it in front of the room that Shy'Bree was in. Getting myself situated I opened the door and walked into the room preparing myself for the worst. As I looked up all Khalil, Tamare , and Tyhalia was here so was my dad and some lady I have never seen before, maybe it was their mom.

'' Why is this little fast ass girl in here?'' The lady asked looking back and fourth from my dad and I. '' Stop talking about my daughter like that.'' He yelled. '' For real mom. You don't even know her.'' Khalil said sticking up for me as Tamare and Tyhalia agreed. '' Excuse me? No. I don't want her in this hospital room. Family only.'' The lady smartly spoke as she directed her words to me.

Khalil was about to say something until I raised my hand up for him to stop where he was, I don't know this women at all and she's coming at me like I stole her family.

'' Ma'am I don't know you at all but please stop talking to me like you know me. With all do respect I don't appreciate it , I'm giving you respect just like you should be doing the same. Please don't try it with me.'' I asked trying to be civil with this lady I have yet to become acquainted with. '' Little girl I'm not trying to hear your shit please leave.'' The lady harshly said. 

''M-Mom how about you leave.'' I heard a faint voice and so did everyone else because every body whipped their head in the direction that Shy'Bree was in.

'' Your awake. I'm so glad your awake.'' I said running over to his bed side , as everybody else stood in shock. '' I-I'm surprised your here too. Can you get me some water please?'' He asked quietly.

'' I'll get the nurse.'' Khalil said before walking out and Tyhalia following behind him. 

''Here.'' I said handing him a glass of water and sitting down on the bed beside him. '' Thank you.'' He said before drinking the glass of water.

'' Can you not? Your probably sitting on his I.V .'' Their mom said before rolling her eyes and walking on the other side of Shy'Bree. '' You can leave now.'' My dad said holding the door open. '' Yeah , please because your making my heart rate go up.'' Shy'Bree said.

'' Y'all are really making me leave? but she gets to stay? That's not fair.'' She yelled. '' Is there a problem in here?'' A nurse asked walking in the room and Khalil and Tyhalia coming after.

'' Yeah , She needs to get escorted out please.'' My dad said pointing at their mom.

'' Okay come on miss.'' The lady said grabbing her arm and taking her out the room.

“ So your not mad at me for all the thing's I've said?" Shy'Bree asked.

“ No,  I'm not. I'm just happy to know your okay."
