The real love bond is a real and true treasure to have and no one should let go. If you believe it's real, go for it and never let go of that special someone.
If both want it to work and there's some struggles and/or issues visible, then both will have to make it work. Talk about it, and do it when both are in a calm matter and are not feeling much at war and more wanting to work together to better themselves in the relationship.
