Scott and Stiles ran out of the school and back towards Derek after the gigantic roar that tore through the the intercom. I pretty sure they woke up everyone within a 15 mile radius with how loud it was. I chuckled as I watched the two boys talk to Derek with flailing arms and big wide smiles. Until, I saw the very thing that ripped all the air from my lungs. Someone-or something had just attacked the boys in front of me.

Scott and Stiles ran towards the school but one body remained on the ground, Derek's.  I stayed completely still as I watched the beast in front of me. It was definitely not a mountain lion. The thing hobbled around to the side of the school trying to find a way in.

Once it was around the corner I scrambled towards the door handle so I could get out. I had to get into the school as soon as possible. There was no way I was leaving Scott and Stiles to fight that horrible thing by themselves, no matter how shaken I was...

I ran across the parking lot to go to the side of the school opposite to where the beast had gone. I slowed to a walk as I passed by Derek's mangled body. I quickly regained my composure and started jogging past windows into different classrooms. I halted to a stop outside one when I saw the they boys, frantically moving behind a door trying to lock it. I hurriedly knocked on the window, not even realizing I was crying until I saw the reflection of myself in the moonlit window.

Stiles' POV

Scott and me turned around to see Alex standing there, What the freak was she doing here! I ran to the window and quickly got it open not even waiting for a moment before pulling her frail shaken body inside and locking it again.

Scott ran to his sister and grabbed her wrists. "What are you doing here?" He searched her eyes waiting for her answer.

"Who cares! What the hell is that thing!" She hugged her brother.

"We're not sure either." Scott tried to comfort her.

"We need to get some where without windows." I stressed.

"Every single room in this building has windows." She replied.  I was terrified for her safety, more than my own. I didn't even care about my own life anymore now that she was with us. I had to get her out of here.

"Then we go some where with less windows." Scott interrupted the intense stare between us.  We scrambled our minds thinking of where to go before Alex thought of the perfect place.

"The locker room." She whispered only for them to hear.

"Yeah, okay." I mumbled.

Scott started to move out into the hallway and I followed behind. Without even thinking about her actions Alex grabbed my hand as we walked out into the quiet and empty halls.

Alex's POV

I was so terrified, and I knew he was too at the way he laced his fingers with mine and gripped tightly.  We ran through the halls until we reached the locker room not wanting to waste any time. Once we got inside we waited for the door to shut before anyone said anything.

Stiles' POV

Neither of us let the others hands fall to our sides.

"Call your dad." Scott directed his gaze towards me.

"And tell him what?"  I sarcastically shrugged.

"I don't know, tell him it's a gas leak." Scott suggested.

"Why would you say-" Alex started to ask before I cut her off.

"No. This thing could go totally terminator and kill every cop, including my dad."  I insisted, I've already lost my  mum, I couldn't lose my dad too...
