"Do you hear that?" Scott spoke up.

"Hear what?" Stiles and me asked at the same time, now back to our interlaced fingers.

"It sounds like a phone ringing."

"What?" I asked again even though I heard very clearly what he said.

"I know that ring," Scott whispered to himself more than to us.

I watched as his eyes quickly grew with fear, "that's Allison's phone." He shrieked.  He quickly grabbed Stiles phone and dialled her number, he flipped it to speaker so we could hear the conversation between them.

"Stiles?" Allison asked as she answered her phone.

"No its me, where are you?" Scott was desperate for her answer.

"I'm in the school looking for you," she voiced as if it were obvious, "why weren't you at my place?"

"Where are you right now?" Scott ignored her previous question, I had seen the look in his eyes before. Desperation, worry. It was the same look Stiles had in his eyes when he saw me standing outside that window not too long ago.

I quickly shook the thought from my mind, it probably had nothing to do with me other than the fact that I was Scott's sister.

"On the first floor." Allison's confused voice echoed through the phone.

"Where exactly." Scott frustratedly pushed for more answers.

"The swimming pools."

"Get to the lobby. Go now." Scott ordered her in the direction that we were.

"Okay, okay, I'm coming." Was the last thing Alison said before hanging up on us.

We stood for a few seconds in silence until we heard the sound of Allison's boots against the cheap hallway floors.  They got louder, and closer, until she turned the corner and came into contact with me and the boys.  Scott immediately ran to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Why did you come here?" He asked.

"Because you asked me too." She shook her head, confused.

"I asked you to?" Scott clarified.

"Why do I get the feeling you didn't send this message?" Allison held up her phone, on the screen was a text from Scott, saying to met him at the school.

That's when it hit me, they weren't running from some random beast. They were running from the alpha. The though sent a shiver through my veins and Stiles felt the subtle movement through my body.

STILES'S POV

I felt Alex's body shake as I held her, turning towards her and placed a hand on her face directing her eyes towards mine.  "Are you okay?" My thumb lightly traced her cheek bone.

"Just scared." Was all she said. She wasn't lying, but she couldn't say what she really wanted either. She made a promise, and the promise made sense. So she kept her mouth shut.  After I registered her words, I pulled her into both of his arms quickly, making her shiver even more even though I was warm.

It was a quick embrace, but even the slightest touch from him made her feel safer.

ALEX'S POV

"Because I didn't." Scott continued his conversation with Allison about the message.

"Did you drive here?" Stiles cut in.

"Jackson did." She answered.

"Jackson's here too?" Scott asked, annoyance taking over his features.
