Kodi's POV:
I slowly sat up in my bed and yawned groggily. I turned off my alarm careful not to wake anyone, especially my mother. I grabbed my favorite pair of skinny jeans, a loose white crop top, and my underwear and bra out of my drawers in my dresser. I ran my hand through my tangled hair and walked towards my bathroom. I set my clothes down and turn on the shower. I strip out of my clothes and step into the steaming water.
After I washed up I grabbed my towel and dried myself off. I wrapped it around my body and started blow drying my dark brown almost black hair. I threw on my clothes and put my hair in a neat, high ponytail. I put on some nude eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. I threw them in my makeup bag tossed it in my backpack. I pulled on my socks and my all white Jordan hightops. I grabbed my laptop and put it in my backpack and I made sure I had all of my supplies. I quietly went downstairs and made a quick breakfast of toast, bacon, and eggs. I grabbed my truck keys off the key rack and ran outside closing the door slowly behind me. I ran into my truck and before starting it up I made sure I had all my things.
"Bag... check. Makeup... check. Laptop... check. Phone... Phone... no phone, I left my phone!" I quickly ran into the house careful not to make any noise. I ran into my room and grabbed my phone off my nightstand. As I was walking out I heard my parents door creek open. I froze in my spot only to see my dad's face come around the door. I sighed in relief. I walked up to him to give him a hug.
"Good morning princess." My dad's deep voice gruffed as he kissed my forehead.
"Morning Dad, I love you but I have to go. See after school, bye!" I whispered as I rushed downstairs.
"I love you too princess, have a good day!" Was the last thing I heard before I hopped into my truck and sped off to school.

When I pulled up to school I could not find a single parking spot. The school had a lot of kids who drive and a few parking spots. I finally spotted one and sped over to it. In a second there was another car in the spot and I slammed on my brakes before we collided. I beeped angrily and waited to see who was in the car. The driver door opened and Melissa Alvarez stepped out. She waved at me bitchily and I sarcastically waved back. She blew me a kissed and strutted away. The passenger door opened and Zachary Adams walked out. He walked over to my truck and motioned for me to roll down my window.
"Hey sorry about that, Melissa can be kind of a bitch sometimes." He said rubbing the back of his neck. I snorted.
"Kind of more like BITCH with all caps." He laughed loudly and ran a hand through his light brown hair.
"Yeah that's more accurate, but don't say that to her face, like you said she's a real bitch." I laughed and replied.
"Yeah, well I'll keep that in mind, but now I have to go find another parking space." I was about to pull off but he stopped me again.
"Wait, your name is Kodi Oliver, right?" He said smiling.
"Uh yeah and your Zachery Addams." I replied confused. He nodded his head in agreement and smiled brightly once again.
"Call me Zach, okay?" I nodded and backed away in my truck as he waved. I waved back and sped off, on the hunt for a new parking spot.
By the time I found a parking spot I only had 5 minutes to get to my locker to put my books away and get to class on time. I power walked to my locker to find my best friends Emma and Scarlet waiting for me.
"Kodi! I heard someone was talking to Mr. McHottie this fine morning." Emma said rather sassily. I raised my eyebrow at her as I put my books in my locker
"First of, no one uses Mr. McHottie and second who exactly are we talking about?" Emma slapped her forehead in frustration.
"I'm talking about Zachary Adams! The school's number one hottie!" She screeched shaking my shoulders violently.
'Help me' I mouth to Scarlet. She just shook her head and tried not to laugh. I rolled my eyes and pried Emma's hands off my shoulders.
"Oh yeah, Zach. First off, we're just talking about how much of a bitch Melissa is and second he isn't even that hot." I said sternly. Emma's mouth dropped open at my statement.
"Did you just call him Zach?" Scarlet asked. I raised my eyebrows confused.
"Um yeah, he told me to call him that this morning when we were talking." Emma squealed loudly, not only scaring to crap out of me but also attracting a lot of unwanted attention to us.
"Really?!?!" I nodded slowly. "He only lets his closest friends call him that!!" Emma whisper yelled. Then she flicked me in the head.
"Ow, what the hell was that for?!?!" She crossed her arms and glared at me.
"For saying Zachary Adams is not hot!" I rolled my eyes once again.
"What a shame Kodi, I thought you would have been a little bit into me, I'm wounded." I heard a familiar voice say behind me. I turned around to come face to face with Zachary Adams.
"Where in the hell did you get that Idea from?" I said crossing my arms playfully.
"Well, I thought your type would be handsome, charming, lovable guys." He said arrogantly. I snorted.
"Oh they are Adams, you just don't fit into any of those categories." I smirked triumphantly just as the bell rang. I waved sarcastically, turned around and walked away with Emma and Scarlet by my sides.
