Jenna, I know you hate my guts right now and aren't talking to me, but this is why I'm writing this. First off, I would like to say: Man am I sorry! I never wanted things to end up like this between us. We're close. Really close. I mean, come on, we're sisters. Twins. And before you go on ranting and raving about how you never want to hear my name again, and how you wish you were born a singleton, just hear me out. I hate the situation that I'm in just about as much as you do. I have to be the freaking Alpha's mate! Ugh. I feel sick just writing that. Trust me. You wouldn't want to be in this position. Wait, yeah you would. That's why you’re mad at me. Hehe. My bad. Seriously. So, since you won't talk to me -and if I try to talk to you, you just chuck something at me-, I'm writing this to tell you my side of the story. So here goes! And please don't tear this up as soon as I shove it underneath your door!

-~*~-

It all started with you and that stupid Steve -or Frank, or Jimmy... I don't know. Whoever your latest boyfriend was-. You guys wanted to go to some way out of the city limits restaurant that I'd never even heard of. And guess what? Since Mom and Dad made that rule that you can't go anywhere with a boy -after what happened last time- by yourself, I had to go with you. I was thrilled. Not.

Being stuck with you and Steve/Frank/Jimmy in a car was not fun, let me tell you. You two also kept whispering back and forth -I was almost positive you were talking about me or making fun of me in some form or fashion- and I was dying to know what it was.

Who would've thought that as soon as I thought that, your boyfriend got all rigid and started growling? Yeah growling. You can just imagine how freaked out I was. Here I am, having to pee in the backseat of his car and dying to know what you guys are talking about, when he starts growling and whining like a dog. Just wait. It gets better. Promise.

He swerved off the road just in time to swerve into something. Whatever it was, it hit the car and we rocked back and forth. Then, unexpectantly, this dude with some serious teeth issues, landed on the hood of the car, snarling. I'm pretty sure I was screaming bloody murder at that point for three reasons:

1. There was some dude that looks like a vampire scratching at the windshield, trying to get into the car.

2. Your boyfriend was going mad and frothing at the mouth and I'm pretty sure he just turned into a werewolf.

And 3. Your boyfriend's driving was making me feel sick and his swerving made me want to barf.

We felt another bump, and the car rocked back and forth. Vampire dude brought a friend. Thud! Two friends. By now, you were screaming bloody murder too, and your boyfriend unbuckled himself and crashed through the windshield. Pretty smart of him, huh? Letting all the vampire peeps in to get us. Yeah, he’s a keeper.

Anyway, he tackled the vampire that was on the hood and wrestled him to the ground. You’re trying to undo your seatbelt with shaking hands because Steve/Frank/Jimmy was getting pummeled and you wanted to go help him. I shouted, "No! What are you doing?!" And grabbed your foot as you struggled out of the car.

"Let go of me! I'm going to help Jimmy!" -Ah! So is name is Jimmy!- Us screaming at each other was just enough to get the other two vampire dudes focused on us. We might as well have shouted, "Free prey! Right here!"

"Aaaaagh!" That was you screaming your head off as one of the vampire dudes grabbed your arms.

"Let go of her!" I yelled and climbed out of the car, brushing off bits of glass. I grabbed a piece of glass, the biggest I could see in that split second, and jabbed it into the vampire that was holding on to you. It hissed and grabbed my arm and threw me across the clearing.

"Julie!" You shouted and kicked the vampire guy. He just smiled smugly and threw you over his shoulder. "Juuullliiiieee!" You shrieked as he carried you off into the woods. -Yeah. I'm the one you call when you’re in real trouble. Take that Steve! No Jimmy!- Jimmy threw the vampire that was attacking him off, and chased after the vampire that has you in his midst.

No one remembered me. Thanks a lot. I feel so loved. I’m the one who hit her head on a rock and is now in a daze with two -I'm pretty sure at least- thirsty vampires lurking towards me. So not a good time to be forgotten.

So as I was trying to stay conscious, I felt fur brush against my face. I squinted open my eyes and there, standing in front of me, was the biggest wolf I had ever seen in my life –so that wasn’t too many right then, but that’s not the point-. It was him. The Alpha. Why couldn't the vampires have killed me faster? He snarled and lunged at them. Following him were three smaller wolves that also attacked the vampires. Once again, I'm forgotten.

I hear some screaming and shrieking and some growling, then all went quiet. "Dylan and Bethany, go follow the other one. Make sure Jimmy gets back." he growled. Well, I guess human-growl. Not wolf-growl because I could see that he had switched back to human. Thankfully, he was wearing some shorts.

"Nrrgh." I groaned and tried to sit up. I managed a half-sitting up and a half-laying down position and see the Alpha and a woman left in the clearing. The woman came closer to me. She was wearing some Wal-mart brand shorts and a tank top. "Are you okay dear? Did the vampires hurt you?" I guess I must've said no or something because she continued on, "Should I take her to a hospital? Or should we just leave her here for someone to find?" Man. These wolves were cruel.

I wanted to cry out, "Hospital! Hospital!" but my voice wasn't agreeing with me right now and all that came out was a croaked, "Hgwa!"

I could swear the Alpha considered leaving me there, but he said, "Take her to a hospital. She might have a concussion or something." So the woman picked me up, none too gently I might add, and got into Jimmy's car and drove me to a hospital. I was surprised that it still worked and all.

Wow. We must've been a sight. A woman that looked like she came in from running, and a girl who had scratches all over her from the glass and a massive knot on the back of her head. I was in and out of consciousness, but I guess I was awake enough to give the nurse my home phone number and address. It wasn't until the doctor had looked over me and Mom had gotten here and asked, "Where's Jenna?" that I remembered you. Some sister I am, huh?
