"I am here to tell you a story.

A story that will torture your thoughts by day and poison your dreams by night.

And though I will do my best, there are no words

That can be written nor brush strokes laid on canvas

That can describe the stark and utter horror of the night that Annabel died.

The emptiness will haunt you."

~ Intro to "Curse Of The Virgin Canvas" by Alesana

Annabelle Lee Grey was a fun loving girl at one time, of course, that all changed when she was part of a hit and run accident and died from her injuries. Instead of going to the underworld, however, she was trapped in purgatory. Doomed to walk on earth until the Arch Angels or Demons found something to do with her. Annabelle, with her short, black, spiky emo style hair, grey eyes, soft edged nose, perfect skin, and natural rosy pink lips, was now a ghost among mortals. They never lay an eye on her unless she conjured up enough energy to manifest either partially or completely.

"Well this is just fantastic...." she mumbled to herself as began walking down the middle of the dark, dimly lit street. "I'm dead."

She turned and walked back over to her body and looked down at her mangled corpse leaning lopsidedly against a tree. Her body's clothes (which her ghost was still wearing) were bloodstained and holey. Though, her clothes were now perfectly fine. She wondered where the notorious "Grim Reaper" was, to take her to her final resting place, depended upon her judgement.

"Now what do I do?" She said, throwing her hands up in defeat.

"Well, you'll just have to wait, wont you?" A male voice said, from a distance. A hollow laugh from what Annabelle expected was the same person, echoed through the night.
