A/N: So this chapter is going to mostly be centered around Ryder's POV. I hope thats ok my dears. If you have any ideas where the story should go, feel free to comment below! :) it's easier for me to write in POVs anyway so the story will be in that format from this chapter on. :3

*Ryder's POV*

She had killed herself. Annabelle had given in to the hells of life and traded them for death. A heaviness hung in my heart and a sickening feeling grew in my stomach. How could people be cruel enough to do that to such a beautiful and innocent girl? After a while, I heard Lillie calling out again. I sighed and brought myself out of my trance. I realized I was still holding Annabelle and let her go. She looked at me, confused.

"What's the matter?" She asked.

"Lillie is having a fit." I replied darkly. Another angered scream followed that remark.

"I don't know why she keeps going off."

"She's pissed off about something other than being here."

"Can't say that I blame her..." I mumbled before walking down the street.

"Alright then..." Annabelle said as she followed me.

She then grabbed my arm and dragged me down an alley. We emerged from the other side and there Lillie was, standing in the middle of the park. I raised my brows.

"There she is." Annabelle mumbled, unamused. I chuckled at her.

"Bored are you?" I mused.

"No. Not particularly. Watching you get angry at Lillie is rather amusing." She smirked.

"Oh? Then you will be thoroughly entertained after this." I growled.

I walked ahead and approached Lillie. She turned and gave me a look that was absent of fear and fueled purely by hurt and anger. She charged me but was merely frozen in her place a few paces before me. I approached her. Her eyes flicked over me quickly before landing on my eyes. I tilted my head slightly and circled around her, slowly.

"Why do you insist on being so mellow dramatic?" I asked, voice void of emotion.

Her girlish snarl was the answer I received. I sighed and stood before her. I ran a finger over her Adam's apple, effectively taking her voice from her.

"That should quiet you down, child. Now, I am going to unfreeze you. If you try to attack Annabelle or I, I will limit your mobility as well." I hissed. She glared at me. I waved my hand in front of her and she fell on the ground. I looked at Annabelle and she was staring at me in awe.

"How did-" she stopped mid sentence to let her mouth fall open again.

I smiled weakly and lifted her jaw up gently with a finger. She shuddered and her eyelids fluttered slightly.

I brought my lips to her ear and whispered "Perhaps I'll teach you sometime."

"Ryder..." Annabelle breathed.

She breathed out my name and all I wanted to do was satisfy her every desire... But I couldn't. I couldn't allow this to happen. No matter how much I wanted it to... Hearing her say my name broke my heart.

Oh Annabelle... How can you do this to me. You beautiful, broken soul...
