"It has been three months, Al, three months and we have made no progress at all!" Scorpius was frustrated. How he'd survived these three months, he really had no idea, but all he knew was that apparently he did. They needed to find her, but with every day it became more difficult and after a while, everything became kind of a routine for them. They would hear about a lead, they would check it out and discover that, again, it had been nothing. It also didn't help that whenever they had meetings at Albus's childhood home, everyone in the family would pop by and share their opinions about how everything was going. Auror Potter Senior had already banned Rose's father from the case, because he made unrealistic decisions that would kill everybody.
"Scorpius Malfoy, can I ask you something? Why are you so keen on finding Rose? I mean, no offence, mate, I'm glad you are if it means we're getting her back, but you seem to be the most frustrated of everyone here - not included my father of course. Al en Frank are her friends, but you? I don't understand," Hugo Weasley had walked into the room. He had heard different views of the situations and different ideas on how to safe Rose, but he hadn't seen anyone as focused on Rose. Maybe what had surprised him the most was how real his focus was. It wasn't driven by a if-I-do-this-right-I-will-get-a-promotion thought, more of a I-can't-think-about-what-will-happen-when-we-don't-find-her thought, but that wasn't possible. Hugo knew how Rose thought of Scorpius; she had never let go of an opportunity to insult him.
"Huge, let's not ask the man why, let's just celebrate that he's doing his best, because it will likely be thanks to him that we find her," his uncle Harry said. He gave Hugo a knowing smile and Hugo rolled his eyes. No. This prat wasn't going to be in love with Rose, was he?
"And you're right Scorpius, it has been three months, but I really think that if Rose is dead, we would've heard it by now," he said.
"Don't say that so soon, dad" Albus said, when he saw a light popping in the room. It was a patronus and spoke:
"Ladies and gentleman, my name is Mary Dolohov. I have a message for all of you, please come to Trafalgar Square at your earliest convenience. I give you one hour."
"Trafalgar Square? That's a Muggle location!" Auror Potter Senior said. He ruffled through his hair and sighted. In a few seconds, twenty or so people apparated into the room.
"Did you hear that?" Rose's mother said when she came into the room. Her eyes were full of tears and her voice sounded like a whisper. Hugo stepped towards her and hugged her.
"It's going to be okay, mum," he said. His father soon joined them and every Auror looked at Auror Potter Senior, waiting on a sign.
"What the hell is going on with my cousin?" James said, when he apparated into the room.
"James, please tell me you have been keeping up with the news!" His mother snarled at him.
"Of course I have! I have been flying across the whole country after practice and my games to look for her. Am I a Seeker or not?" James snarled back, which took his mother by surprise.
"Well, not really, as you haven't found her yet," Albus answered. His brother gave him an angry look and Albus sighted.
"Well, it's true, technically. I didn't see you didn't do your best, though," he defended himself, which caused James to roll with his eyes.
