Whisper's POV:

I was engrossed in a book, snuggled deep in my chair. It was about the towns interesting council and the spine chilling stories that had happened at the house the newest generation would live in. Darcy threw a news paper at my lap. It was about the killings at the café. I already knew about it but tried to act as surprised as possible. "It was only a few miles away," I stated the obvious. "Yeah, apparently they didn't even catch the people responsible." I knew that to. "What are you reading anyway?" She sat on the arm of my chair and peered eagerly over my shoulder. "Just some factual information." I said. "About the council? Borinnng! We're going there in 2 hours so if you want any knowledge then hurry it up," She clapped her hands in a speedy fashion and swung round to go get changed. We had to look reasonably nice...in fact overly nice.

The witch (By that I mean my step mum) had some unsatisfyingly boring work to do with the leader of the council. Something about a new building lot in the further East which wasn't a big deal seeing as that was part of Conabry not Fantasia Audenbry which was where I lived. I actually lived on a-- never mind. I had at least twenty more pages of the crinkled book left to go. The pages were coated in thick dust and the leather spine was slowly falling apart. I heard foot steps arrisung up the stairs again. I couldn't be bothered to talk with anybody right now. But to my surprise it was my little pup, Maple. He came and perched himself by my feet and soon rested his head, gazing up at me in awe. I wonder what it would be like to be a dog...

Darcy was worried she'd ruin her dazzlingly bright outfit on the way out through the town so we got ourselves a taxi to the house. On the way up the gravil path I saw a girl dressed in crimson and deep black step out the door. Her dress was long and flouncy but somehow she looked like an angel. That was Celestia Alburn...The next council leader. They were incredibly rich, anybody could tell that just from looking at the house in it's beauty. She waited, hunching her shoulders up in the cold. Her dress had to thin straps while her was in 2 tight bunches. A bonnet and ribbons finished the outfit with a clean touch. The taxi halted and we stepped out the car. I was wearing a frilled periwinkle dress with pearls engraved around the him and neckline. My hair was curled and pushed over one shoulder. I glared over at Darcy who was wearing many shades of purple. "Hello!" Exclaimed Celestia in a light chirp of a voice. I realized she had one eye a darky brown mixed with delightful reds and another yellow and sour. She was beautiful...and I could already feel a friendship bloom.
