Chapter #16

"Astrid!" Astral yells.

Astral is roaming around in Evelyn's key looking for Astrid.

"Astral?"

Astrid has heard Astral call. She starts looked for him.

"Astral!" Astrid yells.

"Astrid!" Astral yells.

Finally, they see each other.

"You're ok?" Astral asks.

"Yes. I'm fine."

"Why were you fading? I don't understand." Asks Astral.

"Jett was using 1 of the numbers that me and Evelyn collected. Guardian Prince of the Heaven." Astrid explains.

"I see."

Astrid closes her eyes.

"I just wanted to see how you were. I should go." Astral said.

"Thanks."

Astral nods, and disappears.

Evelyn is now in her room. Dan tried to talk to her when she walked in the house, but she bolted straight to her room.

She was crying in her bed, asking herself 'what have I done'.

She never left her room that night. When someone tried to talk to her she just yelled at them. All night she cried. She didn't sleep either.

The next day she didn't go to school.

"Hey Yuma, do you know where Evelyn is?" Tori asked.

"She's at home. Dan was quiet this morning. Like he didn't want to wake her or something." Yuma explained.

"Do you think something's wrong?" Caswell suggests.

"I don't know. All he said that she was up all night doing homework. Then she felt sick." Said Yuma.

"Evelyn is never sick." Flip said.

"How would you know?" Yuma asked.

"I may have looked at old attendance records." Said Flip.

"Of course you did." Tori said.

"Well, after school I'll go see what's up." Yuma says.

KNOCK, KNOCK!

Yuma knocks on the door.

"Yuma! What's up?" Dan opened the door.

"Hey. Is Evelyn home? I have work for her." Yuma asked.

"I can take it. She doesn't want to get anyone sick. It's really bad."

"Well, I don't get sick. Besides I have to ask her something." Yuma said.

"You can try." Dan opened the door and let Yuma in.

"Thanks." Said Yuma.

Yuma makes his way to the staircase and walks up it.

Round a corner was the door to Evelyn's room, he knocks only once and she yells at him.

"Go away Dan!"

"It's Yuma!" He yells back through the door.
