Chapter #3

"Ahhhhh!" Yells Yuma. He landed flat on his back. Walter and Yuma just finished their duel in the backyard. Yuma lost, and Raven watched the epic fail.

"Gaa. Great duel Walter. That was awesome!" Exclaims Yuma.

Walter and Yuma start laughing. Raven smiles. She hears the door behind her open and close. Raven looks behind her. Dan comes out.

"How is she?" Asks Raven with curiosity.

"She's.. upset but, okay. She's going to stay in room tonight." Explains Dan.

"Hey, is Evelyn okay?" Yuma asks running over.

"Yeah, she's fine. Shaken and really upset but, fine." Replies Dan.

Silence. Then Raven spoke.

"Well, I'm going to start working on dinner. Walter and Yuma, you both can stay for dinner if you want." Says Raven.

"Thank you Raven, but I have to get back to the station and try and catch some criminals, for Evelyn's sake. Y'know, you and your family inspired me to become a police officer. To help people." Explains Walter.

"Whoa." Says Yuma.

"Well I'll see you soon." Walter says waving and walking to the door to the house.

"See ya Walter! I hope we can duel again!" Shouts Yuma.

"Me too! I can't wait! Bye!" Walter shouts back.

Walter walks into the dinning room and down the hall to the front door, and out he went. Meanwhile Evelyn was looking out her window, trying to calm down. When Walter walked across the street to his police car, Evelyn sat up. Walter put his hands on the frame of the car. Just then he threw a fit. Yelling, throwing his arms in the air, and kicking the car. Evelyn leaned back in her chair.

"Wow. I didn't know that he would do that." Thought Evelyn. Evelyn leaned back toward the window. Walter was getting into his car. She leaned back again.

"I really hope Walter can get my key back. I wonder if Astrid's ok." Thinks Evelyn worriedly.

"Why can I not exit the key?" Asks Astrid.

Even if Astrid was alone she talked aloud. Astrid looks at her hand.

"I feel myself growing weaker. But only by a bit. I think being away from Evelyn to long is going to end badly."

"Yuma! Dan! Dinner!" Shouts Raven.

"Okay! Just let me finish of Yuma!" Dan shouts back.

"Hey! I could beat you!" Snaps Yuma.

"How likely is that?" Asks Dan. 

"Umm. Very likely." Says Yuma, unsure but enthusiastic.

"Ha. You're funny Yuma, but now you're going down. Attack Giant Frill Lizard!" Shouts Dan.

"Ahhhhh! Ga!" Screams Yuma. As he flies through the air and slams into the ground.

"Aww man! Great duel Dan!" Says Yuma energetically.

"Ha. Great duel Yuma. Can't wait to duel again. Wow..." Says Dan. When they talked and laughed, Raven was standing in the doorway.

"Boys! Come on! Dinner is getting cold." Says Raven, making Yuma and Dan jump.

They all walked in and sat down at the table. They was lots of food and Yuma just dived in. They talked and laughed the whole evening.

"Thanks for dinner. It was delicious. And Dan, great duel. But I will win the next one." Explains Yuma.

"I your dreams." Replies Dan.

"Come by anytime. Don't be a stranger." Says Raven.

"I won't. See you tomorrow!" Shouts Yuma running out of the door.

Evelyn is looking out of her window. She saw Yuma run of the house and running right to his house.

"I will get my key back, just you wait Yuma. Just you wait." Evelyn turns to her laptop. Someone was on it.
