CHAPTER TWO- MCKENZIE

“Look Sea Girl, you open up that sassy mouth of yours again and I’m gonna beat the hell outta you,” Ren stared at me, with those reddish eyes and shoved me into a sink. Man, was she dumb enough to take this into a bathroom, full with good ol’ water. She kept babbling on how she was going to beat me up and how she had ‘people’. Oh the joy of getting beaten up by a daughter of Ares. I started laughing to myself and her face turned beet red. She grabbed me by the collar of my favorite blue shirt, and shoved me against a paper dispenser, I believe, this time she didn’t let go.

“This. Is. My. Favorite. Shirt,” she just laughed and laughed. I focused on the nearest toilet and a jet of water sprang up about four feet into the air and landed on her. Of course, I was completely dry. I proudly walked out of the girl’s bathroom with a drenched and pissed Rena trailing after.

“I’m gonna make you pay, Sea Girl,” I heard her muttering as she went the other way. People started, if only I got a dollar for every time somebody told me that. I looked up at the clock and realized I was late for History. I started running and ran into somebody.

“Dammit! Watch where you’re going will yah?!” I look up to see a blonde haired girl glaring at me with her piercing blue eyes.

“Gods, you didn’t need to throw a fit.” I said rubbing my head, I cautiously stood up and got a closer look at her.

“Ever heard of a comb?” I looked at her nest of hair then back at her. All I got as a reply to my snide comment was glaring, some muttering and a scowl. Bor-ring. I wonder if she was one of the other five, she looked a lot like the girl in the picture I got. I didn’t have time to stand and ponder about this up tight girl.

I’ve never seen so many girls in one crowd until today. I walked into class and, boom. It felt like there was a huge 75% off sale at Forever 21. All these girls crowded around this one guy, who was actually kind of hot. And they were all crowded around my seat, just wonderful.

“S’cuse me! S’cuse me, coming through! Innocent school girl trying to get to her seat!” I crawled, twisted and turned to get to my destination. It took a good ten minutes to get to a seat only about five feet away from the door. I finally sat down and was greeted by this celebrity.

“Hey I’m Iggy,” he flashed me a blinding smile and stretched out his hand.

“Yo, I’m McKenzie, people call me Kenzie, but if you hate me, it’s always Sea Girl. You Aphrodite’s kid?” I said taking his hand and looking at him up and down.

“Yea, easy to tell, huh?” He gave another polite smile and took out a blue notebook.

“Dude, that’s a pretty rockin’ notebook. I absolutely love blue, and green!” I felt all squishy around him; he smiled, yet again, and gave me two thumbs up. I took out my own notebook, identical to his, except mine had doodles and writings all over it. He looked at mine, then me and just laughed, I got a bit red and laughed too.

“Alright everybody sit down, now. “ Ms.Rey’s voice came alive and startled us both and every girl either sat down or left. About two-thirds of them left, talk about pathetic.

In the middle of class her passed me note saying; Are you one of the six? I looked at him and mouthed; Are you? He nodded and so did I. He passed me another saying: You got any idea who the other four are? I wrote back; I have an idea about one other. But I’m not exactly sure. Gods, my handwriting really sucked compared to his perfect cursive, I felt like I was seven.
