It's 6:30, and the September wind was blowing Jess's hair all over the place. Brushing her hair back she quickens her pace to one of her closest friends (Autumn's) house. On her way, she notices that there are some people unpacking some boxes from a truck. Choosing to check on the new person's place, she walks over to the house. She, with a smile, notices that there seems to be a 17-year-old Blonde haired girl with her Mother and Father. So, she taps the assumed 17-year-old on the shoulder

The girl jumps in surprise dropping her boxes, and whips around to see Jess, "Hello! The name's Jess. I see you guys are new?" Glaring the brown-eyed blonde haired girl grabbed the boxes she dropped and gave Jess the cold shoulder. The presumed Mother laughs at Carly's reaction.

"I'm sorry, Carly doesn't like being startled." She gives the Father more boxes, and he gives Jess a creepy look as he puts the boxes in the house. "So what do you need..." The woman needed to think for a second "Uh Jenny if I heard correctly. right?" Jess shook her head.

"I'm Jess!" She cheered happily holding out her hand for the woman. The lady shook her hand and in return introduced herself.

"Oh, my apologies Jess, my name is Isa Kirkland. Call me whatever you're ok with." Mrs. Kirkland pointed at the man putting the boxes away, "The guy over there is my husband, John Kirkland." She pointed to the girl previously addressed as Carly, "Finally that is my daughter Carly." She smiled kindly. "Now Anyways... What do you need?"

Jess laughed happily "Well I'm Jess! I wanted to know if Carly wanted to join me and my friends!" She smiled and glanced at where Carly was at that moment.

Carly looked back and gave her dad the box and walked over appearing pissed, "Really?" She growled "Why do you want me to join you? I mean why would you do that after scaring me?" Jess glanced at them and smirked.

"I want you to get some friends! After all, it must be hard going to a new place and trying to fit in." Still angered, Carly walked off and went into her house with more boxes. "So I'll take that as a no?" Jess said a bit upset.

"Just give her a couple days, maybe she'll lighten up to you!" The mother suggested. Jess suddenly realized the father wasn't anywhere to be seen so she just nodded, now wanting to leave to her friend's house as she was doing before. Jess took one glance back and noticed that the girl Carly was looking at her through the window. So Jess waved right to her as she closed the blinds.

Jess eventually walked up to Autumn's house and knocked on her door. Autumn answered ticked off. "Where the hell have you been!" Jess rolled her eyes as Lucy pat Autumn on the head, being the tallest and laughed.

"Come on Autumn could you relax? She was about.." She looked at the clock, "Eleven minutes late. Not too bad for Jess!"

Lucy and Jess laughed at how Autumn overreacted. "Well... She is still late!" Autumn exclaimed angrily still as she glared at Jess.

Jess chuckled, "Oh I'm so sorry your majesty of perfection!" she said with sarcasm as she bowed at Autumn while Lucy laughed.
