Later Autumn had given up and sat on her bed as Lucy and Jess obsessed about the new movies. They talked about what they wanted to do for Halloween as well, they all wanted to have a group costume and seeing how Halloween was next month the supplies would be easy to get. They all wanted to dress up as their favorite killer. They weren't scared as easily as some other kids with the movies and would just have plain old fun.

Autumn piped up, "Can I be Dr. Lector?" She was always one to be interested in the thought process of killers in movies and Dr. Lector was the one she was most fascinated in. She would never shut up about how much he could tell about a person just by there smells.

Lucy shrugged, "I don't see why not... though who should we dress up as?" She crossed her arms while Jess continued to try to think.

Autumn thought. She shrugged and started to sketch on her notebooks. She did enjoy doodling, it was something to help her relax if she felt pressured. Lucy patted her back. Jess then exclaimed, "I got it!" she grinned as her friends looked at her interested. "I'll be Freddy Krueger! After all the thought someone could infiltrate the mind and attack you from within it and be able to kill you is pretty interesting... Plus I like his claw" She grinned

"Great! Now you left me to be the last one to choose a costume!" She chuckled and tapped Autumn on the shoulder to give her a turn to doodle. She drew to feel inspired so it was no surprise to her.

Jess started to give her wild options and then Lucy cheered, "Michael Myers!" It was a surprise to her so enthusiastic. "I don't have to talk and nobody needs to see my face!" She grinned, "It's perfect for me!"

The three continued to chat, and eventually, the subject got to why Jess had become late. so she began to explain, "Well, as I was walking I noticed a family unpacking into an old house." calmly Jess thought.  "if I recall their names the mom was Isa, the dad was John, and the daughter was Carly. She looked about our age so I asked if she wanted to hang out with us." She thought for a second and chose to leave out the part about scaring her. "Though they must have wanted to finish packing quickly cause she said no."

"What!" Autumn said upset, "aw, next time tell us earlier so we can go and ask" she seemed really upset.

Lucy calmly responded to Autumn, "Well we can go and ask her to hang out with us sometime, I mean she was on Jess's way here so she doesn't live too far."

Autumn and Lucy had been arguing about if they still have the option to talk to her or if it would be creepy. Eventually, it had become really late, and Lucy and Jess had to go. So Jess suggested stopping by Carly's place. Lucy, however, had to agree with Autumn now and said that it would be creepy and that they should just stop by tomorrow. Jess sighed and agreed after playing the scene and realizing what she said was pretty weird.

The fall wind continued to blow and Lucy left her separate way to go to her house. As Jess went along she tried moving quickly. Her confidence fading as she seemed to hear whispers. Curious though, she followed the sound, interested on what it was. She suddenly heard a dog barking and jumped and quickly continued to go back home.
