— Gym Partners —

"Hey," Eunlee greeted the guy that save her yesterday when she entered the gym. "Thanks for yesterday. I didn't manage to thank you for it yesterday."

"No problem. You looked like you really needed help," he replied with a smile on his face as he gently puts down the weights onto the floor. "Choi Seungcheol. My friends sometimes call me S.coups, but you can just call me Seungcheol," the guy introduced himself.

"Lee Eunlee," Eunlee introduced herself as the two shook their hands. "You can just call me Eunlee."

"Sorry about the way I helped you out, yesterday," Seungcheol apologised. "I couldn't think of another way to help you. You just seemed really desperate for help."

"Don't worry about it," Eunlee said and shook her head with a smile. "I'm glad you helped me."

Seungcheol smiled and her and looked around the gym. "Your friend isn't here today?"

"My friend?" Eunlee asked in surprised. "You know her?"

"Um, not really," Seungcheol replied. "I just saw you with her yesterday, staring at me," Seungcheol said with a chuckle.

"Oh," Eunlee replied feeling a slight blush appearing on her face, which she prayed wasn't visible. "She ditched me, today," Eunlee said with a sad smile. "Because her favourite tv show is doing a special marathon today."

"Ah, that's too bad," Seunghceol said in a sympathetic way. "Well, I'm alone too. My friends are all way too lazy to work out with me." There was a short pause between them since Eunlee didn't know what to say, but Seungcheol broke it. "Well, I guess we could be each other's gym partners then?"

Eunlee's heart skipped a beat a little at his words. "Sure, I think that'll be great," Eunlee managed to reply with a gentle smile. She was glad that she didn't choke on her own words, it would have been embarrassing for her.

After several days of spending time together, Eunlee took a day off from the gym because her body was aching. Seungcheol didn't know about it and it kind of made him worry a little. Which was why he asked Eunlee about it when she came to the gym the next day.

"Why didn't you come yesterday?" Seungcheol asked Eunlee with a pout.

Eunlee thought his pout was cute and it made her heart melt a little at the cuteness. As Eunlee explained herself, she apologised afterwards, making Seungcheol feel a little bad for her.

"If it's really that bad, you shouldn't have to come today," Seungcheol said. "I don't want your body to ache more than it already is."

"I'm alright now, though," Eunlee assured him. "I'm fine, Seungcheol. Really," Eunlee repeated herself, knowing that Seungcheol wasn't entirely convinced.

Seungcheol sighs and nods his head. "I was kind of worried that something bad happened to you," he confessed with a faint chuckle following.

"I'm sorry," Eunlee apologised. "I should have told you earlier. But, I didn't have any way of telling you. Maybe I should give you my number."

"What for?" Seungcheol asked with his head tilted to the side a little.

"Emergency purposes?" Eunlee replied unsurely.

"Could I just text or call you for fun?" Seungcheol asked in a joking way.

"Of course," Eunlee half-exclaimed. "At least I wouldn't be so lonely that often," Eunlee joked.

As the two of them ran on the treadmill and had conversations in between, Eunlee got to know that he comes to the gym nearly every day. Even if it's only for half an hour.

"Wait, so you're telling me that you come here every single day!?" Eunlee asked him in surprised by his efforts.

"Yup," Seungcheol replied casually.

"I admire you so much, right now," Eunlee said with a laugh following afterwards. "I should come to the gym more often then."

Seungcheol laughed at the girl's words. "But you have been coming here more often."

"Yeah, I have," Eunlee admitted with a laugh, following Seungcheol. "But only because of you. Or else you'll barely see me."
