— Puppy Adoption Fair and Surprise Box —
I assume most of you would like to go straight to the day where Eunlee and Seungcheol were spending their time with puppies, so let's go straight to that.
When Eunlee saw the different breed of puppies that were being showcased for adoption, she couldn't decide which puppy to go to. Eventually, she just ended up playing with all of the puppies.
Seungcheol couldn't stop finding Eunlee's love for puppies being adorable. He would often stare at her from time to time as he played with the puppies.
Eunlee's attention was caught by a little corgi in the corner. The corgi didn't receive as much attention as the others, so it was easier for Eunlee to play with it since she wouldn't have to be bothered by other people wanting to play with it as well.
"Isn't he just the cutest thing alive?" Eunlee asked Seungcheol who nodded and gently caressed the little puppy. Seungcheol couldn't deny that the corgi was extremely cute, but he wished at Eunlee had said the same thing about him.
Eunlee stared at Seungcheol as he played with the corgi and found herself smiling, unexpectedly. Just like Seungcheol, Eunlee found him Seungcheol just as cute when he's playing with the puppy. In fact, it made her heart feel warm.
"What are you looking at?" Seungcheol asked as he noticed Eunlee staring at him.
"N-nothing," Eunlee replied feeling her face turn red like a tomato as he smiled at her. "I-I'll be with the husky," Eunlee said and walked towards the husky that was beside them.
"Isn't she pretty?" Seungcheol asked the puppy as he pointed at Eunlee. Eunlee was a little stunned by his words and didn't react to it. He didn't know that his words were loud enough for her to hear. The puppy barked happily, making Eunlee feel as if he was agreeing with Seungcheol. "She's also really kind, caring and adorable too," Seungcheol continued. "She's like a little kid sometimes, but that's what makes me love her so much."
Those words that came out of Seungcheol's mouth completely shocked Eunlee. She never thought that she'll actually hear him say something like that about her. Not in a million years.
"Do you think he meant what he said?" Eunlee asked the husky that had its paw on her hands.
"Eunlee, do you want to play with him?" Seungcheol questioned her in a louder voice.
"Y-yeah," Eunlee replied and caressed the husky. "I hope he did," Eunlee whispered to the husky before going to the corgi.
"Did you say something to it?" Seungcheol asked referring to the husky. "Saw you whispering something to him."
"It's nothing," Eunlee answered with a sly smile and focused on the corgi that was eager to play with her.
Seungcheol didn't bother asking and just sat quietly beside Eunlee as she played with the corgi - who was still overly excited.
"I wish I could have adopted the corgi," Eunlee confessed to Seungcheol with a sad smile. "It'll be fun to have him around the house."
Alright, enough with the puppy part. I'm starting to feel sad because I want to adopt a puppy right now, but I can't. Why don't we fast forward a little to several weeks away from that day?
Seungcheol and Eunlee have been planning to go out again that week after spending weeks in the gym together. Eunlee, as expected, agreed to it - since she's been going to the gym every day and she's been wanting to do something else for a change.
Eunchan wasn't home at the moment, so Eunlee was alone. Seungcheol said that he would pick her up at home before they headed off to somewhere that he planned to bring her to.
After killing some time, the doorbell eventually rang and, as expected - again, it was Seungcheol. But, it wasn't just him alone. He was holding a pretty huge box in his arms. "What's with the box?" Eunlee asked Seungcheol in with wide eyes.
"It's for you," Seungcheol replied as Eunlee allowed him to enter the house to go to the living room. Seungcheol placed the box on the coffee table and lets out a loud sigh before looking at Eunlee. "Alright, I don't know how long they're going to handle being inside there, so please, open it now," Seungcheol said.
"They?" Eunlee asked in confusion. "What do you mean by they?"
"Just open it and you'll know," Seungcheol said with a grin.
Eunlee opened the box, as he instructed her to, and saw the two puppies that the two played with at the park several weeks ago. They were still as adorable as she first saw them, the corgi and the husky. She was surprised and speechless - mainly, speechless. I mean, I would as well. She literally received puppies!
"Well, don't just let them stay in the box," Seungcheol said with a chuckle, making Eunlee take the puppies out and place the lightly on the sofa before closing the box. "Eunlee," Seungcheol called out to her - making Eunlee look away from the box and focused on him.
"Hm?"
"We've known each other for quite a while," Seungcheol began. "And I've expressed my adoration for you several times. From your beauty to your kindness to your childishness. I love everything about you. But, I've never gotten the chance to ask you this. Will you be mine?
